
” Machete” sun and Trejo’s Tacos businessman Danny Trejo engaged in a battle during a Fourth of July party in Sunland-Tujunga.
The 80-year-old activity sun was a guest at a local Rotary Club’s annual parade on Thursday, when the fight broke out. According to videos shared on social media, Trejo was traveling in a light, foldable low-rider during the parade when he was stopped after being thrown a water balloon at his car.
The actor from” From Dusk Till Dawn” confronted a group of spectators on the road as he got out of his car. The , Latino icon exchanged punches with a man wearing a helmet, strapless shirt, and black shorts after another water balloon was thrown at his head. Trejo fell on his up off the street. The people also can be seen hitting Trejo’s companion Mario Castillo, who was left bloodied after the incident, according to film published by , KTTV Fox 11.
Trejo reclaimed his feet, grabbed a folding armchair, and threw it into the hushed crowd in video.  , TMZ , published film from another view, showing another person holding up Trejo from the crowd.
“]Trejo] pushed people out of the way to get to those people”, Sunland-Tujunga native James Spishak told The Times. ” There were boys it. It could’ve gotten truly dirty. It would’ve always happened if he stayed in the car”.
Spishak claimed Trejo punched him after attempting to break up the fight with him after running over to the audience. ” I love Danny Trejo, I think he’s a great bro, but he needs to know when to say ‘ no,'” Spishak said.
Trejo members did not respond to The Times ‘ request for comment right away. The Sunland/Tujunga/Shadow Hills Rotary Club, which hosted the Fourth of July party, even did not immediately respond.
” Everyone was holding him back”, said Sunland-Tujunga native Arnie Abramyan, who shared sections of the battle on , Instagram. Between him and the persons who threw the water bubble, there were many people. He was really upset. He was yelling, screaming, jealous and was trying to get to the guy who threw the liquid bubble”.
Abramyan, chairman of the Sunland-Tujunga Chamber of Commerce, told The Times that Trejo was participating in the city’s monthly Fourth of July festival for the first time. There was a designated area on the parade route where individuals may utilize Super Soakers and water bubbles, according to Abramyan, whose business Arnieville is one of the event’s partners, but Trejo was not there when he was hit by a water balloon.
According to Abramyan, Los Angeles police arrived at the scene of the battle while responding to a different event that was taking place near and arrived at the scene. He added that he was informed that Trejo lacked the desire to bring costs. Abramyan claimed that after the parade, he and the rest of the Chamber of Commerce held an emergency appointment to figure out how to forgive to Trejo.
” I doubt he’ll participate]in the festival ] again, but we certainly want to make up and show him like and respect”, Abramyan said.
