Jul. 12—WASHINGTON ( The&nbsp, Yomiuri Shimbun/ANN) -Prime Minister&nbsp, Fumio Kishida&nbsp, and South Korean President&nbsp, Yoon Suk Yeol&nbsp, held conversations in&nbsp, Washington&nbsp, on Wednesday and expressed concerns over growing defense ties between&nbsp, North Korea&nbsp, and&nbsp, Russia.

During their bilateral conference, held on the outside of a mountain of the&nbsp, North Atlantic Treaty Organization&nbsp, for about 35 days, Kishida and Yoon reaffirmed that their locations and&nbsp, the United States&nbsp, may enhance multilateral assistance.

According to Kishida,” Under the present global situation, it is important for the Asian and North Korean leaders to exchange views and co-ordinate tightly with one another, based on the foundation of their firm trust and shared strategic perspectives,” according to Kishida at the meeting.

Referring to a conference between the officials of&nbsp, Russia&nbsp, and&nbsp, North Korea&nbsp, in June, Kishida expressed” major problem” about its impact on regional stability.

Yoon even mentioned the&nbsp, Moscow-Pyongyang&nbsp, marriage, saying that these two countries are accelerating near military and economic ties, causing major concerns not just in&nbsp, East Asia&nbsp, but also for global stability. He stressed the importance of multilateral cooperation among&nbsp, Japan, &nbsp, the United States&nbsp, and&nbsp, South Korea.

Kishida and Yoon furthermore agreed that the governments of Japan and South Korea will keep in touch with one another as they prepare for the 60th anniversary of their relationship’s standardization in 1965.

Later on the same day, Kishida also met with Swedish Prime Minister&nbsp, Ulf Kristersson&nbsp, and welcomed&nbsp, Sweden ‘s&nbsp, accession to&nbsp, NATO, saying that the entry has expanded options for&nbsp, Japan-Sweden&nbsp, assistance.

Kishida arrived by federal aircraft at Joint Base Andrews on the fringes of&nbsp, Washington&nbsp, on Wednesday evening.
