The former US President responded to the shooting and claimed that if he had n’t turned away from the crowd “in that moment,” he would n’t have been alive a day after the heinous assassination attempt on Donald Trump had failed to stop him and an attendee from dying.
Trump told the New York Post,” I’m not supposed to be here, I’m supposed to be dead,” in reference to the incident that caused him to become injured in his right neck.
In another meeting to Washington Examiner, he said,” I often look away from the crowd. Had I not done that in that instant, properly, we would not be talking now, had we”?
Trump also reacted to the powerful image that shows him raising his palm and constantly urging “fight.” ” A lot of people say it’s the most iconic image they’ve always seen”, Trump said.
” They’re right and I did n’t die. Often you have to die to have an iconic photo”, he added.
Trump tilting his head the second shots are fired, injuring his right ears, were movies that came out on the internet. He told the New York Post,” I was struck so hard that my boots fell away, and my boots are tight, and I was in a rush.”
” They did a great job”, he added.
There is no place in America for this kind of crime, for any violence always, said US President Joe Biden, in a speech to the state on Monday. Period. No instances. We ca n’t allow this violence to be normalized”.
” This country’s political language has become very heated. It’s time to cool it down”, he added.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation ( FBI ) took lead in the investigation. The FBI has taken over as the lead federal law enforcement firm in the research into the incident involving former president Donald Trump that took place earlier today in Butler, Pennsylvania, according to the statement.
