Young Americans ‘ fighting to the Right ‘: school Republican president
Data suggests that people in college are shifting socially, with some citing the new assassination attempt on past president Donald Trump as a justification.
After watching Trump’s answer to being shot at a rally in Pennsylvania, Jordan Miller, 22, of Arizona, told The Free Press, he made the decision to support the Democratic nominee for president over the weekend.
” It made me feel like I can respect him, and he’s going to stand up for this nation”, Miller said. ” I do n’t believe there are very many people in this country who can get up and basically tell the country to fight,” said one person who was shot and “one inch from their brain.”
Due to Saturday, Miller said he had been planning to voting for third-party member Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Recent surveys indicate that Miller and other young people are in the social limelight.
Young men who support the Democratic Party have a sharp decline in support, according to a poll conducted by Gallup Survey Center on American Life, from 51 % in 2016 to 39 % in 2023.

While the change is more evident among young people, some younger women are changing their jobs, too.
Eden Rios, 17, of Minnesota, said she used to get “very anti-Trump”. But as a Catholic, she said she cannot in great consciousness vote for President Joe Biden, the Democratic president, because of his abortion stance.
” I do n’t think that murdering children should be legal, so my vote will definitely go to Trump”, she told The Free Press.
Naomi, a recent graduate from the University of Maryland, also revealed to The Free Press that she is considering supporting Trump because of how Biden and other progressives responded to the Hamas criminal assault on Israel on October 7.
According to the report, current surveys from the New York Times/Siena College and the National Public Opinion Reference Survey revealed a decline in young voters ‘ support for Biden.
But, Celinda Lake, a poll for the Biden plan, expressed suspicion about the change. According to another Pew Research poll released last week,” Biden has a significant advantage over Trump among voters under 30 ( 48 % to 28 % ).”
” Those are citizens who now were Trump backers”, Lake told The Free Press. ” They were now rusted”.
But Noah Jenkins, a junior at Vanderbilt University, said he thinks his creation is “rebelling to the Right”.
Being young and liberal is revolutionary, Jenkins, the president of the Tennessee College Republican Committee, wrote in a new row at Newsweek.
We are aware that we are the country’s coming and that we will have to leave behind whatever is left over, he wrote. ” The stakes for us are much higher than it is for the creation, defending revolution or, particularly in our situation, doing what for many is unbelievable: voting for the bad orange person”.
