The attempted assassination of former president Donald Trump was” staged,” according to a California chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine, and it was viewed as a diversion from a recent “massacre” in Khan Younis, in Gaza.
Soon after the shooting, the Students for Justice in Palestine book at UCSD posted the message on Instagram. It has 17, 000 fans.
People wo n’t be talking about the horrific massacre of close to 100 palestinians in Khan Younis today because we just have to accept that apparently people care more about the trump-staged assassination attempt! Light UPPPP”, the blog reads.
A temporary concept that disappears one day after being uploaded to Instagram immediately deletes the article.
A picture of the account was obtained by The College Fix.
The Fix contacted SJP UCSD via internet on Monday, but the company did not respond to its requests for comment.
One protest participant died as a result of the attempted assassination on July 13.
Trump and two rallygoers were hurt in the killing.
Rafa Salama, a captain of a significant Hamas regiment in Gaza, was killed in an airstrike in Khan Younis hours before the attempted execution of Trump. Mohammed Deif, the military president of Hamas, was also targeted in the attack, Reuters reported, despite the IDF’s press release to date that it has not been officially confirmed if he was killed.
The IDF’s speech announcing Salama’s dying in the hit called him “one of the closest partners” of Deif, and “one of the instigators” of Hamas ‘ attack on Oct. 7.
According to the Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry, about 90 civilians were killed in the attack, which appears to have inspired the SJP article. A separate victim analysis of the incident has not yet been released by the IDF.
Some have reacted similarly, including SJP UCSD, who appears to be the most well-known accounts, who claims the Trump assassination attempt was a fabricated diversion from the Gaza war.
One X person wrote,” T]he notion that Trump’s shooting is just a publicity stunt to divert attention from what is happening in Palestine.”
Another claimed that the Trump death effort was staged to divert attention from Palestine and the Trans genocide.
SJP UCSD’s say that a” staged” assassination attempt separates from the Israel-Hamas war is one of many comments from popular left-wing options arguing the killing was orchestrated. Some of these received hundreds of thousands of likes and tens of millions of opinions on well-known social media platforms like X.
” If you do n’t think that shit was staged? Look how quickly Trump was removed from office at the mere mention of a gunman in the audience in 2016. Next look at this goofy as s**t”, one person wrote, receiving 126, 000 wants.
Patrick Schoettmer, Seattle University associate training doctor, said during a July 14 appearance on Sky News Australia that reactions to the firing calling it” staged”, quite as SJP UCSD’s article, were pretty common across social media.
Schoettmer told the news store,” Many on the far left were making accusations that this was a staged activity or a false flag operation.”
” As our political affiliations have intensified, since 2011 or 2012 … Americans have been more accommodating of violence, or have been more quick to chastise it on the other side”, Schoettmer said.
