America Just Witnessed True Leadership Under Fire

The planet is now completely aware of how President Donald Trump responds in real time as of Saturday. The past and potential president raised his angry fist into the air and yelled” Fight!” while blood dripping down his face and tattered ear. Battle! Combat”!

The second, memorialized in awe-inspiring images, reminds me of a picture from 2007, when Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Four American soldiers had been killed in a bombing that had called Mitchell Burghardt to the field. A watchful enemy fighter detonated another incendiary device as he attempted to destroy it, causing Burghardt to fly high into the air before dumping him into the ground. All he could think of as he lay there was that he did not want to end up like his father, a three-Purple Heart Vietnam veteran who was paralyzed from the stomach down. He&nbsp, described what happened second:

My shorts started to fall off, and I experienced intense pain and blood rushing down. Therefore I wiggled my fingers and I thought,’ Good, I’m in company.’ ” As a stretcher was brought over, excitement and rage began to pour in.” I decided to walk to the aircraft. I was n’t going to let my team-mates see me being carried away on a stretcher.’ He stood up and saluted the rebels who had blown him up with a single-fingered welcome. I flipped them one. It was like,’ OK, I lost that large, but I’ll get back second week’.

A person is now not to get misled.

Many like Burghardt’s one-fingered sign and promises to “be up next week”, Trump’s fighting palm and endurance were unmistakable. Trump was back&nbsp, the second day&nbsp, when he landed in Milwaukee for the GOP agreement.

    Another person to be considerate.

You see what a person is made of and how they will act when they are criticized, said a battle man in a conversation this year. We’ve both witnessed individuals who thaw up or are unable to do. Some rise to the occasion. &nbsp, But you ca n’t fake it” .&nbsp,

He’s best. You ca n’t fake it. When Trump came up, experience bloodied, fist in the air, and snarling,” Combat”! persons knew they were seeing the true man, not a false image.

Trump’s was the kind of intuitive response that could never be predicted following polls or focus group testing. No speech-writer ever gave him a draft of a text. No director advised him to act ferociously and in overt anger before allowing his Secret Service details to force him to leave the stage. That was at the man’s key.

What Do Americans Want in Our President?

A Fox News host this week summed up the myth that many Americans are fighting for us by expressing her instant reaction to Trump’s response to the shooting.

Regardless of party affiliation or inclination, all Americans are concerned about the security and protection of the country. When our senator is dealing with foreign leaders, endurance and the ability to face danger and also lethal hazard without quitting the fight are particularly critical. Our allies and enemies should know that the president is not some light, that he is not a man to get messed with, and that this character should be seen in our president.

Another presidents have displayed comparable leadership. Teddy Roosevelt demonstrated it when he was shot in the chest by a wanted killer, before moving on to handle the market. Here is how The New York Times&nbsp, described it:

As he began, Roosevelt addressed the stunned crowd,” I do n’t know if you fully understand that I have just been shot.” However, a Bull Moose can only be killed by that.

He expressed regret and explained that he might not be able to speak for as long as usual as a result, before beginning a 90-minute stemwinder. He merely consented to be taken to the hospital at that point. Before coming to a stop, the shot had been lodged four inches from the chest and had been directed straight to his center.

After that, there could be no doubt&nbsp, — if there ever had been any — that Roosevelt was a person to be reckoned with. Or, as Charles DeGaulle would say, he was” a severe person”.

My favorite new example of political power was still Trump, even before the assassination attempt on Saturday. On” The&nbsp, Sage Steele Show“, Rep. Wesley Hunt, R-Texas, a West Point graduate and combat veteran, &nbsp, described a meeting&nbsp, between President Trump, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and the leaders of the Taliban. In Hunt’s giving, Trump told them he wanted American forces out of Afghanistan but that it was going to be a phased departure,” with circumstances”. He therefore told the Taliban head that if, during the departure, they “harmed a single hair on the head of an American”, he would kill him.

When the astonished interpreter hesitated, Trump said,” Show him. Just show him what I said” .&nbsp, After the language, Trump then pulled out a satellite image of the Taliban party’s property, handed it to him, and walked out of the room. It worked.

    A severe man, certainly.

Does anyone —&nbsp, anyone&nbsp, — conceive of Joe Biden, or any part of his case for that matter, being wounded at a protest and finally getting to his legs, maintaining his attention, and reacting the way that Trump did? Pick your warrior.
