Joe Biden explained in an appointment with BET on Wednesday what may cause him to pause in the run for president.
” If I had some health condition that emerged, if someone — if specialists came to me and said you got this difficulty, that problem”, Biden said.

Days later, the news broke that Biden tested positive for COVID-19.
” Earlier immediately following his first event in Las Vegas, President Biden tested positive for COVID-19″, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a statement. He has been vaccinated, boosted, and has only minor symptoms. He may be traveling back to Delaware where he will self-isolate and may continue to perform all of his responsibilities while there. As the President continues to perform his whole responsibilities while in loneliness, the White House will keep you informed of his progress.
White House cardiologist Kevin O’Connor likewise made the following statement:
The President presented this afternoon with upper respiratory symptoms, to include rhinorhea ( runny nose ) and non-productive cough, with general mailaise. His signs are moderate, his breathing rate is unchanged at 16; his temperature is unchanged at 97.8; and his pulse oximetry is unchanged at 97 %. The President has had his first injection of Paxlovid. He may get self-isolating at his house in Rehoboth.

Due to the good COVID test, Biden promptly canceled a discourse scheduled for the Unidosus Annual Conference in Las Vegas.
There has been much discussion about how easy it is that Biden has unceasingly self-isolated, or at least going back to the room. Is this piece of Biden’s leave plan? Is it just a coincidence? Who tests for COVID nowadays? I thought the vaccinations protected you from COVID, correct? Additionally, between December 2020 and September 2023, Biden received at least six COVID photographs.

The best response to the announcement that Biden had COVID, which has essentially turned into another form of a cool at this point, was from CNN’s Van Jones. It would be considered the Democratic Party’s speech in 2024.
