NEW DELHI: India has been subjected to “enormous force” by foreign powers due to its strength ties with Russia, said foreign secretary Sergey Lavrov on Wednesday, calling it” fully unjustified”.
” I think India is a great power that sets its own national interests, determines its own national interests, and chooses its own lovers. And we are aware that India is undergoing a lot of unfair, pressure in the international community,” Lavrov said.
Lavrov was speaking out about the difficulties India has had with its power collaborations with Russia as a result of PM Narendra Modi’s recent journey to Moscow.
He termed Ukraine’s comment on India after PM Modi’s Russia attend “insulting”.

Lavrov attacked the West, claiming that India is aware of “how to deal with whom and defend its regional interests.”

Foreign minister S. Jaishankar had stated that his top priority is to protect the interests of the American people by preventing them from being the victims of other nations or regions ‘ actions when it comes to important commodities like nitrogen and food.
” It’s not just that we buy oil from one state. We purchase oil from a variety of sources, but it is wise to choose the best package in the interests of the American people, which is exactly what we are trying to achieve,” Jaishankar had stated.
