    Violent protest grips Bangladesh over civil service hiring rules: Top developments

    NEW DELHI: The continued students ‘ opposition over legal services hiring guidelines across Bangladesh have spiralled, with at least 39 lives lost till Friday. Kids have been staging altercations with Bangladesh Chhatra League, the scholar organization of the ruling Awami League.
    With roughly 32 million young people out of work or training in a state of 170 million, activists are calling for a merit-based program.

    What triggered the rally?

    The demonstrations began last month when the great court overturned Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s government’s decision to end a quota system for government work.

    Public rallies banned

    Authorities banned all open rallies in Bangladesh’s money Dhaka– a first since the protests began– in a pre-emptive determine to stall crime.
    ” We’ve banned all demonstrations, parades and people groups in Dhaka now, “police key Habibur Rahman said.
    However, the government has even suspended train service following the violent protests.

    American high commission issues expert for citizens of India

    The High Commission of India in Dhaka issued an advisory to Indian citizens in Bangladesh that advised them to avoid native walks in the midst of violent limit protests.
    The High Commission and Assistant High Commissions may be accessible on Indian nationals ‘ hotline numbers for any support, according to the MEA expert, and they were also advised to keep their movements a minimum while leaving their living quarters.
