On the last day of the Republican National Convention on Thursday in Milwaukee, former senator Trump addressed the crowd for around 90 days. His first address since the death attempt next week, which he addressed directly afterward. A lot of people “asked me what happened” said Trump, but I am going to explain what happened, after which you will “never speak it repeatedly from me because it’s very painful”.
” In order to see the chart, I started to turn to my right, and was ready to begin a further turn, which I’m lucky I did n’t, when I heard a loud whizzing sound and felt something hit me, really hard, on my right ear”, Trump recalled. ” I said to myself,’ Wow, what was that – it can only be a shot,’ – and moved my right hand to my ears, brought it down, and my hands was covered with blood, only blood all over the place. I soon knew it was very severe, that we were under assault, and in one motion, proceeded to drop to the ground”.
Trump remained quiet and did not cause a large outcry, thanks to the Secret Service personnel, as well as his followers, who remained steadfast and did not cause a wave of large conflict.
” Tens of thousands of people stood by and did n’t move a single thing.” In reality, many of them bravely, but immediately, stood up looking for where the rifle would be, and then began pointing at him”.
Because of this, Trump said, “many lives were saved”. Corey Comparator, the captain of the Township Volunteer Fire Department, was also honored by Trump for his death at his march.
” Tragically, the gunman claimed the life of one of our own Americans, Corey Comperatore, and critically wounded two additional great soldiers.. David Dutch and James Copenhaver. Our hearts and prayers are with these incredible communities, and they will always be, Trump said. ” Corey, a highly respected former fire chief … was accompanied by his wife Helen… and two precious daughters. What a wonderful person he was, acting as a people shield to protect them from flying bullets, he lost his life.
After asking for a moment of silence, Trump then crossed over Comperatore’s fire hat, which was then adorned with his participation coat, on the stage next to the former leader.
