Cancel culture comes back to bite the Left amid posts wishing Trump was assassinated

ANALYSIS: The Left made cancel society a factor because they took offense to something even the slightest; then, others follow their own rules.

People like this professor in the Oklahoma-based Ardmore City Schools city would have the self-control to avoid posting offensive material on social media after an almost-assassinated U.S. presidential candidate is killed.

According to a picture Composites of TikTok obtained by Libs of TikTok, the high school music teacher responded to a Social person’s post saying they were going to contribute$ 500 to would-be killer Thomas Matthew Crooks for” tryin’ to save us.”

” Same”! wrote the professor. ” Wish they had a better opportunity” — followed by an “oh well” icon.

Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters eventually posted on X that the professor’s remarks were “unacceptable” and added:” We will not enable teachers to clap on crime” against President Trump.

After that evening, Walters stated,” I have thoroughly investigated it. I will be taking]the teacher’s ] teaching certificate. She will no longer been teaching in Oklahoma”.

A city news release that stated officials had started a” thorough and swift” research and that the neighborhood” strongly condemns acts of physical assault and any words that seek to encourage it” was available on the Ardmore class neighborhood website as of Friday.

The” Master Contract” between the Ardmore staff and the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs states that the” Superintendent and the School Principals will periodically advise staff members and east new staff members regarding the importance of maintaining proper etiquette in the online, digital, as well as in man.

The obscene notes of many others regarding the attempted assassination of Trump, including those of other teachers, have been documented in the composites of TikTok and other transactions. Some people, such as a fire captain from a city close to the site of the shooting, not just offered an apology, but also backed it up by resigning.

Again, in a perfect world, people would “pause before]they ] post”, as a recent&nbsp, Education Week&nbsp, article put it. ( It also noted the difficulties of two other teachers in addition to the Ardmore case, not to mention Superintendent Walters ‘ tweet,” The left, the liberal media, and the radical extremists of Joe Biden’s party attempted to assassinate @realDonaldTrump” ). Ed Week only attempted to contact Walters for comment, not the teachers. )

Further:’ Greatest ‘ presidents are likewise most canceled

If everyone understood and applied the the First Amendment ( and the law ) consistently, there would n’t be as much outrage as we see presently. Offensive statement is also considered free speech.

imageThere is the matter, of course, of Trump being a former president ( who may be elected again ), which makes even borderline threats something to give pause.

Conservatives were outraged at progressives and the media for going after kids who reportedly insulted Native Americans by wearing face color in their favorite team’s colors, and disciplining a six-year-old for writing “any living” on the” Black Lives Matter” banner while a young African man chanted at him while standing with a grin.

And how about all the offended college students who wanted a professor or colleague to be disciplined or expelled because of something, they said? Or the academics and professors who vehemently opposed President Trump, such as saying he was worse than Stalin, Hitler, and Mao?

Such examples are abundant in the College Fix archive.

While liberals and other Trump haters should n’t necessarily be piled on and have their jobs investigated over personal, emotionally charged, spur-of-the-moment political comments, is n’t turnabout fair play? After all, the Left champions equity.

Progressive made the practice of canceling culture because they do n’t like it when people do n’t even take offense to what they do.
