One of the most upsetting aspects of the attempted murder of former president Donald Trump is how, almost everyday, we learn fresh information about the amount of the security holes surrounding the incident. &nbsp,

The shooter, according to the Wall Street Journal, flew a drone and captured aerial footage of the eastern Pennsylvania fairgrounds just before the previous leader was scheduled to speak it. This is the most recent alarming creation from law enforcement officials who were given the incident’s details.

The Butler Farm Show premises were searched by Thomas Matthew Crooks before that day on July 13 for Trump’s ill-fated protest, according to the authorities. According to the authorities, Crooks may have flown the helicopter twice as he looked into and visited the location of the event. &nbsp,

One observer was killed, two others were critically injured, and Trump was left with a graze wound to the ear after the 20-year-old would-be murderer fired at least six shells from the ceiling of the American Glass Research tower, which was about 400 feet away from where Trump was speaking. A Secret Service sniper team shot back, killing Crooks, whose motive remains a mystery. &nbsp,

Multiple inquiries are being conducted into how a gunman was able to launch an AR-15 rifle on Trump while climbing onto a rooftop with a clear line of sight. More than an hour prior, when officers observed Crooks milling about the rally with a range finder and a backpack, police had become suspicious of him.

Just one way in which authorities have claimed Crooks planned his attack was the use of the drone. Crooks, who friends have described as very intelligent but withdrawn, started researching the site shortly after the Trump campaign held a rally on July 3 and registered for the event on July 7, according to officials. He returned to the farm show grounds a few days later to check it out.

According to officials, Crooks returned to the scene with two homemade bombs with remote control receivers, similar to those found on fireworks, the day of the shooting. Explosives were discovered in his car close to the grounds, along with a ballistic vest containing three 30-round magazines, which suggested there might be more violence planned. &nbsp,

How seriously bad is this lapse? Well, in response to the initial report, Donald Trump Jr. reported on X/Twitter that he was once prevented from flying his own drone at Mar-a-Lago.

I was once prevented flying MY OWN drone off the beach at Mar-a-Lago by USSS because my father was inside the house, just to illustrate how crazy this all is.

A federal law enforcement source, according to Bill Melugin of Fox News, revealed that there were no Secret Service drones flying during Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The Secret Service, including its elite Special Response team, did not ask for tactical assistance from HSI. HSIA agents were not stationed in close proximity to Trump or the nearby buildings, but rather at the street entrance and the media area. The Secret Service, which directed HSI and local law enforcement on personnel placement and was in charge of the advance planning, created and carried out the entire security plan.

He explained more in a post on X/Twitter.

According to a source, HSI agents are alleged to be untrained or unable to provide security at this event, adding that HSI are highly trained federal law enforcement who frequently conduct complex investigations, often at the border. Source added that HSI had about 400 security personnel working at the RNC in Milwaukee, and that they are aware of threats. On Monday, HSI agents working perimeter surveillance at the RNC were involved in identifying and apprehending an AK47-gun-wielding man who had a bag with a full magazine and a Scream mask.

There was a lot of finger pointing happening on national television as a result of the security failure on Saturday, which was centimeters away from causing the assassination of former president Trump.
