Donald Trump held a campaign rally on Sunday, his first since he managed to escape a murder try next year. He also attacked President Joe Biden and made false claims about several issues, making comparisons to previous Democratic house speaker Nancy Pelosi and making out with them.
What are the five main insights from his march conversation:
Promises of skewed vote resurfaced
Trump downplayed bogus claims that the 2020 election was stolen from him at the recently held Republican National Convention. But, during his return to the campaign trail on Sunday nights, Trump did not hold up.
He declared, adding another example of voter fraud, that” the Radical Left Democrats rigged the presidential election in 2020 and we wo n’t allow them to rig the presidential election in 2024.”
” We want a flood that is too large to rig”, he added afterwards.
Trump urged first citizens to “follow your ballot” and claimed that in 2020, some state were” shoveling votes into buckets, moving them around”.
The crowd cheered as he called on them to” Fight, fight, fight”.
Trump denounced the radical brand.
Trump reiterated his criticism of Project 2025, a statement competitors describe as an conservative, right-wing plan.
” The other side is trying to make me sensible extreme,” the statement reads. I’m hardly an extremist at all”, he complained.
He described the Heritage Foundation’s blueprint to reshape the federal government as the work of” the radical right… they’re seriously extreme”, claiming,” I do n’t know what the hell it is”.
Trump said that the idea of him being a” danger to democracy” is “misinformation”.
” Next week, I took a gun for democracy”, he said.
‘ Stupid’ Biden
Trump criticized Biden’s election, highlighting problems within the Democratic Party about Biden’s time, as some believe that at 81, he is very old to assist another word.
They do n’t know who their candidate is, they say. This man goes, he gets the vote, and now they want to take it away, which is quite fascinating. That’s democracy”, Trump said in Michigan.
He claimed that Nancy Pelosi, the previous leader of the House, had “turned on Biden like a dog.”
Trump called Biden” idiotic” and” a low-IQ individual”, and also criticized Vice President Kamala Harris—who may succeed Biden if he steps aside—as” crazy”.
Reward for autocrats
Trump cited his ties to world autocrats as evidence that his relationship with Kim Jong-Un, the leader of North Korea, made the country safer.
He said of Kim,” All he wants to do is get nuclear arms and make them.” ” I said, only calm, frost. You’ve got much. You got, you got so many nuclear weaponry, so little, I said, only relax… let’s go to a ball game”.
Viktor Orban, the president of Hungary, was described as a “very strong head” by Trump and claimed that Vladimir Putin, the leader of the US, would have never invaded Ukraine in 2022.
He mentioned receiving a “beautiful word” from Chinese President Xi Jinping following the attempted death, calling Xi a “great guy.”
Trump described Xi as a “brave person.” With an iron fist, he has control over 1.4 billion individuals.
Strong stance on’ unlawful’ immigration
Trump repeatedly threatened illegal immigrants, described an “invasion” at the US border as “invading it,” and suggested that Democrats were letting it gain seats.
Trump claimed that if he were to run for office, he would release the “largest imprisonment operation in the background of our country.”
” When I return to the White House, we may stop the pillage, murder, murder, and loss of our American suburb places”, he declared.
” We’re going to get the bad ones out. We’re going to get them out soon. It’s not going to get long”.
He pledged to” love migrant murder” and claimed that” we’re never going to take it anymore” by accusing nations like Venezuela of “dumping their thieves into the United States of America”.
