Joe Biden was reportedly told on Thursday that he had accepted his fate and had withdraw over the weekend from the competition. That is no longer the case, it seems. These speculations were vehemently refuted, and it appears as though they were leaking meant to put pressure on Joe Biden.

But, a new story has emerged that, I have to say, is really compelling.
Associated:  , It Looks Like Kamala’s Phone with Democrat Donors Was a Hazard
Joe Biden is reportedly considering withdrawing from the 2024 presidential contest, but not until after Netanyahu’s future speech to Congress. Given their strained relationship over the Gaza conflict, Biden’s supporters claim that he wo n’t be able to announce his withdrawal before the speech.
While Mr. Biden and his team publicly state that he is staying in the contest, some insiders have begun negotiating dates and locations for a potential announcement that he is leaving. In fact, some insiders have said that he is becoming more accepting that he may not be able to.
One factor that could delay a decision is that advisers believe Mr. Biden would not want to do it before Republican leaders say in Congress that he wo n’t give the prime minister the satisfaction he deserves given their strained relationship over the Gaza war.
Yet Mr. Biden stifles under strain, and those who push him run the risk of putting him back together and keeping him there after all. According to two people with knowledge of his thinking, he had never changed as of Friday evening.

If there’s anything that all reports —even the ones based on erroneous leaks —appear to point to it is that Biden is feeling the pressure. As we’ve recently reported, he’s very unhappy about it, too. Those who were hoping for a big announcement this weekend may be disappointed, but I ca n’t help but feel that if Biden manages to make it past this weekend and through Wednesday, he’ll continue to find ways to wait until the virtual roll call declares him the winner.  ,

As someone who has covered the Trump presidency, Biden considers himself the most powerful Democrat president in history and takes too much pride in leaving. However, he has also been led to believe that the group is interested in him. In 2008, when he ran for president, he polled in single figures. He credits Barack Obama with the entirety of his post-Senate job, and his notable successes as chairman are essentially continuations of Obama’s policies. As we’ve seen from White House events over the past few years, Joe Biden does n’t have the star power that his former boss, Barack Obama, has. In the end, he’s simply another member of a political group that is truly uninterested in old white men. And honestly, Biden has done thus far damage to the group that important Democrat-leaning divisions have been flocking to Trump or third-party individuals.
