Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu just met with the people of the victims who are currently being held in Gaza to inform them that a deal could force their loved ones to be freed.
During his visit to Washington, where he is scheduled to tackle Congress and expected to meet with US President Joe Biden, Netanyahu told the people,” The problems are truly ripening. This is a good indication”.
Significant progress has been made in the past fortnight in negotiations for a ceasefire in Gaza, which was discussed by Biden in May and mediated by Egypt and Qatar. On Friday, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken expressed enthusiasm, claiming that negotiations were “moving toward the target collection.”
Itai Chen, a double US-Israeli member and man whose brain is being held in Gaza, was Ruby Chen, the father of the other community members who met with Netanyahu. While acknowledging Netanyahu’s speech about ripening problems, Chen remained optimistic, telling Israeli Army Radio,” I’m taking that with a pinch of salt”.
Chen expressed desire that Biden, who has withdrawn his campaign for election and supported Vice President Kamala Harris as the party’s nominee in the November ballot, will put more pressure on Netanyahu to close the deal.
According to Jewish records, Hamas, an Islamist violent group, launched an attack on Israel on October 7 that resulted in the record of about 250 victims and the deaths of 1,200 people. Hamas and another insurgents continue to hold 120 victims, with about one-third of them declared dead in proceedings by Israeli government.
Palestinian deaths in Israel’s hostile unpleasant have surpassed 39, 000, according to Gaza health officials in the Hamas-run colony.
In November, a week-long peace resulted in the discharge of more than 105 victims in trade for 240 Arab prisoners.
