‘Unreasonable’: 20 universities still require students get COVID vaccine

‘ I would never deliver my child to any college however mandating COVID-19 vaccines,’ physician says

No College Mandates, a guardian business, claims that twenty American institutions still impose on their kids that they receive the COVID-19 vaccination.

These demands face extremely heavy criticism from medical specialists and researchers who point to concerns regarding the product’s health, efficacy, and necessity.

Lucia Sinatra, co-founder of No College Mandates, an organization that monitors and activists for the abolition of vaccine mandates, told The College Fix that such laws are “unreasonable and biased”.

In a recent email, Sinatra stated that “one can only conclude the purpose of this regular testing is to discriminate against those who choose not to get COVID-19 shots and put undue pressure on them in the hopes that they’ll tire of the cost and routine of the regular testing and fall under the coercion to get them to do it.”

Over the past year, many schools have slowly discontinued their vaccine mandates. The most recent of these include Wayne State University, which announced this month that it” clearly” recommends but no longer requires the vaccination.

San Diego State University also ended its mandate late, according to No College Mandates. According to an August 2023 report from The Fix, the amount is over from roughly 100 universities one year earlier.

The Southern University System, which is based in Louisiana, and three schools of California State University are just two examples of classrooms still requiring their kids to get the vaccine, according to the regulator.

SUS, a public school system, requires all kids to get the vaccine. Students may reject a notice of disapproval or an exemption type, but they must also post a negative COVID check each month, as required by a vaccine protocol page on the company’s website.

The reason schools keep upholding vaccine mandates, according to Professor Todd Zywicki, a senior researcher with the Brownstone Institute and a rules professor at George Mason University, is “reflexive authoritarianism.”

In a new contact, Zywicki wrote:” You see among the left their fear, trying to force students to follow their random could without asking concerns.”

He compared the folly of the demands to” Chinese troops in the hills of Okinawa thinking that World War II is also ongoing and charging out of the trees occasionally”

According to medical researchers at Boston University, professionals are beginning to change their definition of COVID-19 from pandemic to endemic, meaning it is still present.

A 2023 study in the Journal of Infection and Public Health found biological immunity is “equivalent” to vaccine-induced resistance in protecting against disease. According to the CDC’s COVID-19 Data Tracker, about 97 percent of the population has disease antigens of some kind.

Dr. Paul Offit, an internationally recognized epidemiology expert and doctor at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, told The Fix that while there were genuine worries about COVID-19 at first, it no longer carries the same risk.

” Covid-19 has entered the pantheon of respiratory viruses. Covid-19 has become equivalent in effect to the virus, but why treat it different”? Offit said in a new contact.

Far fewer COVID-19 related cases of severe illness and death were discovered in a January investigation by the Centers for Disease Control than there were four years ago. The research compared COVID-19 to the virus and found them to be quite” comparable” in terms of intensity.

Dr. Clayton Baker, a doctor and former clinical professor at the University of Rochester, pointed out the bad effects of treatments. A number of new studies have linked the COVID-19 vaccines to” significant negative event” challenges, including myocarditis, pericarditis, and Guillain-Barre Syndrome.

He told The Fix in an email,” There are over 1.6 million VAERS ]Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System] reports of adverse effects and over 38 thousand reports of deaths related to the COVID-19 injections”.

Baker expressed his frustration with universities continuing to demand the treatments, saying:” It’s not only needless, I believe it is legal. I would never give my child to any college also mandating COVID-19 vaccinations. Who else in any way demands it from world? No single”.
