The former president’s campaign filed a Federal Election Commission ( FEC ) complaint on Tuesday, alleging that Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden of being guilty of the “largest campaign finance violation in American history” due to the alleged donation of$ 91.5 million to the newly formed Harris presidential campaign, according to the New York Post.

In the official FEC complaint, Trump campaign general counsel David Warrington wrote that” Kamala Harris is attempting to commit a$ 91.5 million ]sic ] heist of Joe Biden’s leftover campaign cash. This would constitute the single largest excessive contribution and biggest violation in the history of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971.”
The complaint was filed against Harris, Biden, the 81-year-old government’s primary campaign committee – renamed Harris for President on Sunday – and the agency’s manager.  ,
It further describes the energy to recycle the$ 91.5 million left in Biden’s plan account to Harris as “fraudulent”  , and a “mockery of our campaign finance laws”.
Warrington contends that there is” no provision in federal campaign finance law for Kamala Harris to assume control of his campaign” and that there is” no provision” in the law to that effect.  ,
He also asserts that Harris, 59, is ineligible to acquire Biden’s war neck because she did not declare election for the president as one of her official boards.  ,
In the complaint, Harris is described as a” independent personal candidate competing for the Democratic Party’s election” based on the claim that the transfer of funds amounts to a “massive increased commitment from Trump for President” to the vice president.

A Harris plan national adds that the title change and the continued authorization of the Biden and Harris funding boards are the only things that differ.
However, this likely wo n’t be a simple process. FEC Chairman Sean Cooksey, a Trump appointee, told NPR that handing the Trump campaign war neck to Harris is “unprecedented” and may lead to legal issues. He anticipates that the FEC and possibly the authorities will hear the case. Dara Lindenbaum, a past Democratic FEC director, confirmed to The Hill that Harris is eligible for campaign money and you use them.
