Christopher Wray Says FBI Does Not Target Peaceful Pro-Lifers. The Stats Prove Otherwise

In a hearing before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, FBI Director Christopher Wray claimed that the FBI has historically focused more on “abortion-related violent extremism” than on pursuing pro-lifers in accordance with the unconstitutional Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances ( FACE ) Act.

” When it comes to FACE Act police and abortion-related aggressive extremism, I think one of the things that gets lost — and I appreciate the opportunity to define — is that really, since the Dobbs decision, really more of our abortion-related aggressive extremism studies have focused on violence against pro-life services, as opposed to other manner around”, Wray claimed.

As Republican Rep. Chip Roy immediately noted, nothing could be further from the facts.

” We’re however waiting on actions on words that we’ve sent indicating information to the contrary”, Roy said. ” There’s been a considerable amount of work in targeting of people who are pro-lifers, who go to hospitals, and that they’ve been prosecuted”.

Opposed to Wray’s states, just five of the 60&nbsp, cases brought under Biden’s see focused on pro-abortion fanatics. The other 55 targeted people who value living in the pregnancy by evangelizing at pregnancy facilities all over the country.

As of President Joe Biden’s inauguration in January 2021, the national government&nbsp, had brought fewer than 100 FACE Act prosecutions&nbsp, since the&nbsp, rules ‘s&nbsp, founding in 1994. That amounts to fewer than four targetings a time under an action that, as Roy&nbsp, noted in a 2023 email, “had never&nbsp, been used to prosecute individuals related to an attack on a pro-life maternity centre or home of worship”.

The lack of FACE Act trials immediately changed, however, during Biden’s House career. Following the Supreme Court’s Dobbs v. Jackson determination, the Biden Administration’s Department of Justice became responsible for nearly a third of all FACE Act trials. Despite at least &nbsp, 90&nbsp, abortion-fueled firebombings, theft, and other strikes on saving conception facilities, pro-life companies, and parishes in the midst of the leaked Dobbs v. Jackson judgment, the FBI and DOJ focused most of their time and resources on jailing pro-lifers.

One such incident involved the arrest of 75-year-old Paulette Harlow, a lady who had a “debilitating health state” and was charged and found guilty of a civil rights crime and violating the FACE Act for praying at a Washington, D.C. pregnancy center.

Do you believe that a 75-year-old woman who practices prayer at a DC clinic should be imprisoned for two years for it? Just a simple question. Do you think that’s appropriate”? Roy asked Wray.

Wray claimed he had no knowledge of the” special case” at hand.

The FBI director’s attempts to dispel the administration’s blatant animosity toward those who support the sanctity of life further demonstrate that Americans are wrong to not trust the country’s top law enforcement agency or its DOJ partner.

” The FACE Act has been weaponized against harmless pro-life senior citizens, while arson and violence against churches and pregnancy centers is ignored”, Republican Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, said in a statement responding to Wray’s claim.
