Imran Khan, the former prime minister of Pakistan, reportedly intends to apply for the position of president at Oxford University after Lord Patten resigned. Imran Khan is facing a year-long felony of inciting demonstrations and violent behavior against the defense. Imran Khan’s secretary Sayed Z Bukhari, who responded to the information that was widely shared, stated that it has not been decided whether Imran Khan will battle but that there are ongoing sessions.
Imran Khan’s candidacy for Chancellor of Oxford University has not yet been decided, but it will be decided in the coming 24-48 hours, according to Bukhari.
The election for the president position may be conducted for the first time online, according to the UK Telegraph. Typically, the post goes to alumni of the college, generally politicians.
Imran Khan joined the Oxford baseball team in 1972, where he studied economics and politics, and Keble College. Imran Khan took over Bradford University in 2005, and this will not be his primary position as governor of Oxford.
Imran Khan up against Tony Blair, Boris Johnson?
Imran Khan’s team, according to reports, cited public pressure to run for president, but the competition may be difficult because Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, both former UK PMs, are also competing.
Imran Khan’s chances of becoming the new Oxford Chancellor are awash with cartoons.
The current government, which plans to outlaw the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, is at a crossroads in Pakistan as Imran Khan’s state. After reviewing all available information in connection with the protests of last year, data minister Attaullah Tarar made the decision to ban the organization.
71-year-old Imran Khan has been in the Adiala Jail for about a month for his faith in four cases– two Toshakhana references, the encryption event, and the Iddat situation, in which his wife, Bushra Bibi, is likewise jailed.
