” Ismael Zambada Garcia, or” El Mayo,” director of the Cartel, and Joaquin Guzman Lopez, a son of its other director, were arrested now in El Paso, Texas”, Garland said, calling the gang “one of the most aggressive and powerful drug smuggling organizations in the world”.
” Both people are facing numerous charges in the United States for leading the Cartel’s legal activities, including its deadly fentanyl producing and trafficking systems”, he added.
Zambada, who founded the Sinaloa Cartel alongside the now-impeccable Joaquin” El Chapo” Guzman, is accused of numerous indictments in the United States related to organized crime and drug trafficking.
