According to state media Efforts on Sunday, North Korea has threatened to” completely damage” its rivals if a conflict breaks out. This is dependent upon an attempt from Kim Jong Un. Kim and I attended a conference on Saturday to discuss the 71st celebration of the Korean War ceasefire.
At the conference, top military figures, including Army Colonel Ri Un Ryong and Navy Lieutenant Commander Yu Kyong Song, expressed their fierce anger toward the US and South Korea. The officers ‘ remarks were referred to as coming “out of rising contempt” toward these countries.
The military officials claimed at the conference that the US and South Korea “were hellbent on starting a nuclear battle.” They pledged to strengthen their military readiness to launch an “overwhelming assault on the army anywhere and without delay and completely eliminate them once the renowned Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un gives an get.”
North Korea and the United States do not have diplomatic relations, and negotiations to lower tensions and de-nuclearize North Korea have been at a standstill since 2019. Irrespective of who is elected as the next president of the United States, North Korea’s state media has recently stated that it does not anticipate any adjustments.
The ceasefire agreement that halted the Korean War was signed on July 27, 1953, by North Korea, the United States, and China, properly ending three decades of warfare. US commanders signed the agreement on behalf of South Korea’s support for the UN.
South Korea does not see July 27 as having significant occasions, while North Korea refers to it as” Success Day.” Instead of a treaty, the two Koreas ended the conflicts, which essentially leaves them at war.
