They Never Give Up: Study Claims 250,000 Lives Would Have Been Saved With Strict Mask Use and Vaccines

It’s that time of year again. Day to dust off your medical masks, training social distancing, and fear the transfer of COVID-19.

” The Return of COVID” sounds like a horror film. In reality, it’s a sitcom. We’ve already had this situation, and for the vast majority of Americans, masks are not required for COVID safety ( or any other respiratory condition for that matter ). Bird Flu, people? ).

Having said that, if you’re like me — 70 years old, heart condition, diabetes, COPD — whatever little change faces and vaccines made in keeping me alive, I gladly took it.

A brand-new study that purports to show that anywhere from 118, 000 to 248, 000 more lives could have been saved if we had only followed the states like Massachusetts and established stringent mask mandates and vaccine requirements has been published in the prestigious” Journal of the American Medical Association ( JAMA ) Health Forum.”

I have no fear that if all older people, people with so-called” co-morbidities” like heart disease and diabetes, and immuno-compromised citizens had masked up and gotten vaccinated, life could have been saved. It’s impossible to say how some.

It is absurd to pull figures out of thin air and point a hand at says with less stringent demands. &nbsp,

These studies do not support the opinions of those who oppose COVID-19 restrictions and who mistakenly believe the restrictions were ineffective, writes University of Virginia professor of economics and public policy Christopher J. Ruhm. ” In contrast, the bundle of policies put in place by some states likely saved a lot of life,” the statement goes on to say.

” Perhaps saved many lives” or, just as likely, the concealing and vaccines saved some life. The study made the smallest effort possible to compare the social cost of imposing vaccines, closing schools, and imposing the business. &nbsp,

    The Hill:

The findings highlighted that not all treatments, especially those that involved closing open places, may have outweighed the advantages. Only two things, faces and vaccinations, may account for three-fourths of the life saved by limitations.

The researchers found that school closures, which negatively impact individuals ‘ social development and test scores, had the lowest impact on the death rate, compared to school closures, which had the opposite effect.

For high-poverty class districts, this gap was particularly striking. According to a study by the National Bureau of Economic Research, low-income regions that were isolated in the 2020-21 school year will need to spend nearly all of their national support on intellectual treatment to aid individuals recover from progress loss brought on by pandemics.

The research acknowledged that imposing restrictions on a variety of costs was not always enough to support just saving lives. ” They reluctantly noted that the” loss of liberty “was difficult to quantify.

According to the study, “if all state had imposed restrictions related to those in the 10 most restrictive state,” excess deaths would have been an estimated 10 % to 21 % lower than the 1.18 million deaths that actually occurred during the 2-year research time.”

I call BS on that, while do a lot of other people.

They had previously acknowledged that mask usage and social distance had already been clinically demonstrated inefficient and made up on the spot.

Thus, the final and maintaining of those shutdown, of small businesses and schools and the keeping of the people away from itself, was n’t tight enough??! https ://t.co/K9SVEMKln Q— Sonja Sharp ( @sonjarenasharp ) July 26, 2024

    Twitchy:

There is no approach– no way at all– for any study, scholar, or doctor to be aware of what might have transpired in the past.

So when the media attempts to conjure us up, we might have saved more lives if we had acted yet more forcefully during COVID.

It’s impossible to predict how things would have turned out because there are so many factors in this. Especially now that we are aware that the vaccine and concealing were completely ineffective.

No” wholly ineffective,” but undoubtedly less efficient than advertised.
