    Leaders across Americas react to Venezuela election results

    Despite numerous exit polls that suggested an opposition gain, Venezuela’s electoral authority announced shortly after midnight on Monday that President Nicolas Maduro had won a second term in office.

    ” We’ve just seen the news by the Colombian electoral commission a short while before. We are concerned that the outcome that was announced does not accurately represent the votes and will of the Cuban people.
