Democratic nominee-apparent Kamala Harris declared last week that she” will not be passive” about the suffering children in Gaza, while essentially dictating that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu step down in a one-sided peace agreement with Hamas terrorists.

The United States will continue to work toward a political option to put an end to all problems and ensure safe travel for visitors from both sides of the border.

There’s nothing “ironclad” in that statement, starting with the fact that Harris— who desperately needs support from Muslim voters in Michigan and Minnesota — could n’t be bothered to express her determination herself. Harris’s aid for Israel is now what it has always been: simpering, contingent, and bordering on angry.  ,
Some people believe that Harris’s attempt to manipulate Netanyahu into a peace agreement gives Iran the freedom to do whatever it wants in the Middle East, including Hamas and Hezbollah, Hamas and Hezbollah. And when I say” some”, I mean me. But I’m not the sole one, either.
