The New York City Police Department reported that two spectators were seriously injured early on Saturday when a gunman shot at a rival on a Bronx road.

The early morning killing of a person and a woman marked the end of a terrible week in the Bronx, in which eight people were killed and eight others were injured in separate incidents. Several of the murders occurred within 12 days, officers said.

Saturday’s victims, a 23-year-old girl and a 39-year-old person, were standing with a group of people outside the Hawaii Lounge and Tapas Bar on&nbsp, East 180th Street near Webster Avenue&nbsp, about 2: 45 a. m. when shots were fired.

When one of the two men pulled a firearm and started shooting, the other two gentlemen were arguing with each other near the party.

The girl was discovered by police with a gunshot wound to her right foot when they arrived at the scene. She was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital for treatment.

While officers were it, the 39-year-old male showed up at the hospital, claiming he had been shot in the hands at the same place, cops said.

Both patients were hit by stray guns, cops said.

The shooter, who was dressed in black, jumped into a dark Mercedes-Benz, which was last seen heading south on West 180th Street. There have n’t been any arrests.

A 52-year-old man was tragically shot in the head during a burglary, according to police, which started the bloody year.

Victim Jose Baez was on Bruckner Boulevard near Pugsley Avenue in Castle Hill about 4: 15 p. m. when Julio Ramirez, 28, pulled a weapon on him and demanded his home, authorities said.

During the flow, &nbsp, Ramirez shot Baez in the brain, police said. &nbsp, He likewise inadvertently shot himself, cops said. Researchers detained him on Tuesday after discovering him recovering at Lincoln Hospital.

Cops charged Ramirez with murder, assault and weapons hands. On Wednesday, he was arraigned in Bronx Criminal Court, and he was ordered held without parole.

At around 3 a. m. Tuesday, 28-year-old&nbsp, Idriss Cherif El Farissy was shot in the head during a robbery&nbsp, outside his residence on East 176th Street near Mohegan Avenue near Crotona Park, officers said. El Farissy died at the field. His criminal has not been caught.

One of the four murders in the Bronx that occurred on Monday night around 3: 30 p.m. was his slaying, which involved two people ages 18 and 67 who were shot near East 145th Street and Third Avenue in Mott Haven.

When the shooter approached the two victims and began firing, they ran away. Both gentlemen suffered leg injuries. An accidental bullet&nbsp, even hit the screen of an occupied MTA vehicle, but no one on the vehicle was hurt, according to authorities.

Medics took both gentlemen to Lincoln Hospital, where they are expected to recover.

A 34-year-old man was shot in the hearing in the neck in Chief Dennis Devlin Park in Parkchester about five hours later during a fight near He Avenue and the Cross Bronx Expressway.

When the younger person accused the gunman of stealing his possessions, both the sufferer and the 44-year-old shooter were in the area. The gunman pulled a gun and blasted the prey in the right ear during the subsequent fight.

Officers responding to the 8: 37 p. m. killing found the sufferer, who pointed out the gunman as the suspect and a girl ran away.

Officers caught up with the reported gunman, identified as Roderic Cox, and recovered a dark 9 mm Glock gun, authorities said. Police charged Cox with attempted murder, foolish endangerment and weapons custody, authorities said.

The target received treatment at Jacobi Medical Center before being released.

At about 10: 45 p. m., pictures rang out on&nbsp, Courtlandt Ave. near East 158th Street&nbsp, in Melrose. A 37-year-old person was transported to Lincoln Hospital after suffering a graze wound to the brain. A second target, a 66-year-old girl shot in the shoulder and hip at that spot, arrived at the same medical by private means.

According to police, it was not immediately known if either target was the planned destination. Both are expected to survive.

No arrests have been made in that event.

Before last week, cops were holding on to a 1 % drop in shootings in the Bronx, the NYPD said. As of July 21, Bronx officers were investigating 179 murders, three fewer than the 182 that occurred at the same time a year before, according to office records.
