Remember When the Left Fact-Checked Us to Death Over Big-Tech Interference in 2020?

It’s hard to believe it’s been six years, but in 2018 I&nbsp, covered a story that almost broke the computer. The article: “96 Percent of My Google Search Results for’ Trump ‘ News Were from Democratic Media Outlets”.

When I did a search in August of that election season for” Trump” on Google News, here’s what happened: &nbsp,

No right-leaning website ever appeared on the first page of results research results.

When I searched Google for the first 100 results in search results for” Trump,” the situation got much, much worse.

CNN, by a large margin, appeared most often, with nearly half as many benefits returned as the second-place winner, The Washington Post. Another left-leaning stores also fared also, including NBC, CNBC, The Atlantic, and Politico. The only right-leaning places to appear in the top 100 were The Wall Street Journal and Fox News with 3 and 2 benefits both.

PJ Media did not appear in the first 100 effects, nor did National Review, The Weekly Standard, Breitbart, The Blaze, The Daily Wire, Hot Air, Townhall, Red State, or any other conservative-leaning locations except the two listed above.

I noted that” Google returned the same results after performing the search more than once on different computers ( registered to different users ). While certainly scientific, the findings suggest a design of discrimination against right-leaning articles”. Trump retweeted it after the passing of Lou Dobbs. &nbsp,

And then all heaven brook free.

The fact-checkers came at me with a revenge, mocking me, defaming me, and denying that there was any discrimination in Google’s algorithms. Even then, all these years later, when I do a search for” Paula Bolyard, Trump, Google”, almost every effect on the first section is from a fact-checker calling me a harmful fool or whatever. Before I could tell my story, I had to skim to site 5. They’ve buried it into nothingness. &nbsp,

We all know this is not by injury. &nbsp,

We even know that it’s still happening. Everyone has been posting about what happens when people try to find out about Trump demonstrations or the death test, including Greta van Susteren and Elon Musk. &nbsp,

.⁦@elonmusk ⁩ caught this first! He is accurate, even though it seemed completely absurd. This image needs to be explained by Google. twitter.com/oN18jlzq5b— Greta Van Susteren ( @greta ) July 31, 2024

Google’s complete have even attempted to obstruct users from revealing details about the death attempt on Trump. &nbsp,

Wow, Google has a research ban on President Donald Trump!

But a funny thing happened. Google got caught and basically admitted it was happening, but finally gave this pardon yesterday: &nbsp,

Autocomplete did n’t make any predictions for questions relating to the former president’s murderous plot. Because of outdated safeguards that it already has, and because of which they are.

After the horrific events in Butler, PA, those predicted queries should have appeared but did n’t. When the matter was flagged, we started working on changes, and they’re already rolling away. Right now, you can see a lot of accurate estimates.

Well, that would be great of them to provide information on the most significant news story of the year for Americans. I hope you’re all pleased to your Big-Tech masters! &nbsp,

The Associated Press was swift to come out with a “fact” test saying there’s nothing to see here: &nbsp,

Search engine experts told the AP that there are numerous other reasons why there have n’t been any autocomplete predictions about Trump and that they do n’t see any suspicious activity from Google.

According to Michael Ekstrand, an associate professor at Drexel University who studies AI-powered data entry systems,” It’s very believable that there’s nothing wicked here, that other systems that are set up for negative or great purposes are causing these query tips to not appear.” ” I do n’t have a reason not to believe Google’s claim that this is just normal systems for other purposes, particularly around political violence”.

A &nbsp, Pew Research poll in late 2023 found that a whopping 71 % of Americans get their news “often” or” sometimes” from search engines like Google—and Google absolutely crushes all competition: &nbsp,

And it’s not just Google. Social just got caught altering truth, as my partner Rick Moran reported: &nbsp,

This might be one of the more recent instances of a social internet site’s deliberate campaign to place a higher value on Democrats over Republicans. Facebook is correct in recognizing that it is an error to label the memorable image of a bloody Trump holding his fist in rebellion following the attempted death as “misinformation.”

” Yes, this was an problem”, Dani Lever of Meta wrote on X. According to the New York Post, Charlie Kirk remarked that Facebook did not permit users to share the image in her post.

” Our techniques incorrectly applied this reality check to the real picture, and in some cases it was done on a doctored photo with the secret service agents smiling,” the statement continues. We’re sorry for the mistake, but this has been fixed.

Grok, X’s AI, summarized the troubles with Google this manner: &nbsp,

Elon Musk and other users of a social media platform have accused Google of interference in the election, alleging that a search for” Trump rally” on Google turned up results in Kamala Harris ‘ rally in the end. This has sparked debate and fears about possible manipulation of the upcoming election and the validity of research findings. Users are requesting investigations and complaining about perceived discrimination in search engine results, while others have suggested using alternative search engines to avoid possible intervention.

And that’s the problem — it’s vote intervention. You are aware of what Democrats consistently accuse Republicans of. They did it in 2020 and they’re continuing to do it now. Fact-checkers next made fun of me for reporting on this, and they’ll undoubtedly make fun of me once more and accuse me of spreading “disinformation” when it’s really the punters in Silicon Valley who spread false information. &nbsp,

This week, our friend John Hinderaker from Power Line expressed his dissatisfaction with Newsguard’s alleged “fact” checkers, who have been a ROYAL pain for me as well because they have successfully persuaded advertisers to avoid websites like ours that do n’t align with the preferred narrative. &nbsp,

But then, my interest is piqued. Although I retired from the prosecution industry a few years ago, I still have a legal right to represent myself. I just want to find out what NewsGuard has said about me or about Power Line, and if correct, &nbsp, I may reimburse them for libel. I could then hire an expert accountant who could calculate the damages that we at Power Line have suffered over the years&nbsp, ( within the statute of limitation, of course ) as a result of NewsGuard’s lies about us. It could be lucrative, and it definitely would be entertaining.

For those of us working in the media’s before lines, it’s incredibly frustrating. We have data that needs to be passed on to voters, but the Big Tech judges constantly criticize us for taking it all in. As standard Desktop Media readers know, we will not again down—despite the slander, the monetary damages, and the ridicule. We’re committed to the facts. People will find it difficult to contribute to Biden’s terrible economy by earning a few dollars per month as a PJ Media VIP member, which will help us stay online during this crucial election year.
