Far-right commentator Laura Loomer shared Kamala Harris ‘ birth certificate, which lists her mother’s ethnicity as” Caucasian,” on Wednesday after former US President and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump questioned her about the issue during an interaction at the National Association for Black Journalists ( NABJ).
According to a new Bloomberg surveys, Loomer’s article appeared to back up Trump’s claim that Harris is not Black. He is now leading him in five of the seven battleground state. Harris’s family, Shyamala Gopalan, was an Indian-American medical professor, and her father, Donald Harris, is a Jamaican-American doctor professor at Stanford University.
Fact-checkers, including Snopes, have clarified that birth certificates in California during the 1960s usually did not specify the boy’s race, and Harris ‘ team reiterated that her mother’s list as” Western” does not alter her personality.
Prior to questioning Harris ‘ cultural identity, Trump took to the stage for an appointment at the annual meeting of Black reporters in Chicago.

Donald Trump’s team responded to Trump’s statement by saying that, in response to his statements,” the hostility he displayed today is the same as it has been displayed throughout his career, throughout his term in office, and throughout his presidential campaign as he seeks to regain control and inflicts his dangerous Project 2025 plan on the American people.”
