Sometimes you have to go with your gut inclinations, and I wish I’d stuck with me yesterday.
Ismail Haniyeh, the political head of Hamas, was killed the night before, so it was my pleasure to record on it on Wednesday night. My gut told me that a Mossad death team had sneaked inside, performed some dirty work, and subsequently snuck back out. However, there were rumors that Haniyeh had been killed during a detail attack.

” Not trust initial information”. I’m going to create that on a chalkboard 100 times after currently— and not for the first time, either.
If you were n’t familiar with Haniyeh or missed yesterday’s column, he was usually presented as the “moderate” face of Hamas because our press seems to be largely made up of willing dupes and terrorist sympathizers. They do not put it that way, of training. In their minds, they’re just on the side of” the oppressed”. Haniyeh’s case involved receiving an estimated$ 3 billion in Western aid for the Arabs in Gaza from his own pocket.
To be honest, his message has been moderated since previous evening.

Haniyeh has been on the State Department’s Specially Designated Global Terrorists record since 2018 for his” close connections with Hamas ‘ military aircraft” and for his assistance of “armed conflict, including against citizens”. He reportedly participated in criminal attacks against Israeli people, according to the State Department review. Yet the International Criminal Court, usually ineffective in the extraordinary, sought an arrest warrant for Haniyeh earlier this year for “war acts and crimes against humanity including murder, murder, rape and taking captives”, involving the Hamas Oct. 7 evil war of Israel.

So do n’t be fooled. Haniyeh suddenly received it for the sacrifice he had made.
Three of Hamas ‘ children were then hailed as martyrs, and Israel has been dealing with them since Oct. 7 when an attack in April, possibly with Haniyeh in mind, resulted in their deaths. Iranianiyeh’s cruel former guests in Tehran are now hailed as martyrs.
” At the appropriate time and place, we will have a suitable answer”, Mohammed Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament said at Haniyeh’s monument on Wednesday. ” It is hard for us that our host died a sinner’s death. The hero Haniyeh, who was the oppressed Israeli people’s voice, will receive avengeance.
Today then, about that death…
According to the New York Times, Haniyeh had been staying at an “heavily guarded difficult” in Tehran, an official state hotel that the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps runs and soldiers. Yet, Israel was ready to ,

Nearby sources who spoke to the Times under the common pseudonyms have confirmed all of this.  ,
As far as martyrdoms go, Haniyeh’s was beautifully humiliating, in large part due to Jewish operational brilliance and Iranian intelligence’s grave failures, as well as the dreaded Revolutionary Guard’s. I should n’t laugh, but I just ca n’t help it.
Please take into account that this is a developing story because Iran has pledged to instantly attack Israel in retaliation.
