
Following the killing of Hamas head Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran on Thursday, US President Joe Biden reaffirmed his commitment to Israel’s safety “against all risks from Iran,” according to the White House.
The leader stressed the value of ongoing efforts to de-escalate broader tensions in the region, according to a statement from the White House. Kamala Harris, the vice chairman, and Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee for president, even responded.
” The senator reaffirmed his commitment to Israel’s protection against all dangers from Iran, including its proxy terrorist organizations Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis”, the White House said in a reading.
” The leader discussed efforts to support Israel’s protection against hazards, including against nuclear missiles and drones, to incorporate new defense US military operations”, it added.
Following Israel’s news to appoint Hezbollah’s military chief Fuad Shukr in Beirut, the leaders recently made a call to each other.
Netanyahu’s state has never commented on the shooting of Hamas political head Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, but the Palestinian militant group has blamed Israel, whereas Hamas, Hezbollah, and Yemen’s Huthi insurgents all receive funding from Iran.
On October 7, the Israeli-Hamas issue in the Gaza Strip reached its peak, when militants seize 251 people who are still being held hostage in Gaza, including 39 who the defense claims are dead.
Since then, Israel’s hostile military campaign has killed 39, 480 folks, according to the health department in Hamas-run Gaza, which does not provide information of civil and violent incidents.
