Harris campaign says it raised $310m in July, more than double Trump’s haul

Kamala Harris ‘ campaign overcame a harrowing several days of fundraising in July to recover so significantly before the end of the month that Donald Trump raised more than double what her plan announced on Friday. The Harris campaign, which for the first 20 days of July was the Biden campaign, said it had raised$ 310 million during the month, including$ 200 million in just 7 days after Biden dropped out of the race.
The Trump campaign and its own friends reported on Thursday that they had collected$ 39 million in July, which is a sizable sum but falls short of the Harris campaign’s. In July, the Harris plan raised nearly twice as much money as the Biden plan did in March, April, May, and June. The boom in fund-raising has allowed Liberals, for the first time in decades, to have a cash-on-hand advantages over Republicans. In contrast to the$ 327 million that the Trump campaign claimed to have, the Harris plan claimed to now have$ 377 million in its battle neck.
No plan made it clear how much money the campaigns themselves raised or held in comparison to their allied group committees.
According to reports, Democrats ‘ funding levels decreased in the first three days of the month following Mr. Biden’s disastrous conversation, though exact numbers were not disclosed by the Biden campaign. However, the fundraising spout was broad when Mr. Biden pulled out of the race on July 21. More than Mr. Biden’s total in the first three months of the year, according to the Harris campaign’s claim that it raised$ 200 million in the week following Mr. Biden’s re-election bid.
The Trump administration’s personal fund-raising was solid- and most probable would have far outstripped the Democrats ‘ had the party never changed its standard-bearer. The$ 139 million raised in July amounted to one of the Trump team’s strongest fund-raising months to date, just off the sum raised in May, when Mr. Trump’s supporters responded to his felony conviction with$ 141 million in donations.
