The three jihadists who planned the problems, including Khalid Shaikh Mohammad, aka” KSM,” are the subject of an investigation led by House Armed Services Committee Chair Mike Rogers.

Rogers called the plea bargains “unconscionable“.

He wrote a letter to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin demanding” all paperwork and connections containing words, problems, agreements, side-deals, or any jointly developed, related, provisional, or linked agreements with any group relating to terms and conditions of the petition agreements”.

” I, along with much of our society and Congress, are profoundly shocked and angered by reports that the terrorist mastermind and his coworkers who planned the September 11, 2001 terror attacks, which killed almost 3000 innocent persons, were offered a petition deal”, Rogers wrote in the text, which&nbsp, Fox News Digital first obtained. &nbsp,

” Tragically, the news is a’ gut punch’ to many of the victims ‘ families”, Rogers added.

In exchange for the removal of the death penalty, KSM and its conspirators, Walid Muhammad Salih Bin Attash and Mustafa Ahmed Adam al Hawsawi, pleaded guilty to murder and conspiracy.

The Biden-Harris Administration’s willingness to accept such a plea deal is unconscionable. You, Mr. Secretary, are the Cabinet Member with ultimate oversight of the Office of Military Commissions. Your department accepted Khalid Shaikh Mohammed and his band of killers ‘ plea bargains, Rogers wrote on Thursday.

” Deals like this give hope to terrorists all over the world because America is unwilling to hold the worst of the worst accountable for their wicked crimes.” In summary, this agreement indicates a willingness to bargain with terrorists who will purposefully harm Americans.

The House Oversight Committee, which is led by Rep. James Comer, is also looking into the plea deal, not to mention the House Oversight Committee. Comer emailed Biden a letter explaining why he would not accept responsibility for the plea deal.

Given how ridiculous this decision is, Comer claimed, but it is far from believable or appropriate that White House officials and you, as president and commander in chief, would try to distance your administration from it.

You are allowing these terrorists to avoid receiving the death penalty, showing our adversaries that the United States is reluctant to pursue full justice for those who attack our country.

Comer complains that there is “absolutely no transparency regarding the transaction.” Indeed, the details of the deal remain unknown. Why, in my opinion, is so bad.

Just what else did we give these terrorists?

In response to the shocking plea deal, retired police officer Kathy Vigiano, wife of NYPD Detective Joseph Vigiano, wrote in a letter to the president that Comer quoted as saying:” I am angry and disappointed that enemy combatants who killed thousands of Americans in our homeland are now able to exploit the US judicial system to their advantage, receiving support from American taxpayers for shelter, food, and healthcare for the rest of their lives.”

In a press conference on Thursday, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan claimed that the White House “had no place in that process.”

” The president had no role. There was no role for the vice president. I had no role. The White House had no role”, Sullivan said. And the convening body informed us yesterday that this pretrial agreement had been accepted, the same day they went out in public.

Do we have reason to believe that the president did not consent to the most significant legal proceeding in a generation?

It’s expected that Biden will pull a Pontius Pilate. The administration ca n’t afford to be seen to be involved in any kind of corruption because the deal must be so sour. During these congressional hearings, the only way to learn anything is during these hearings. &nbsp,

Even then, the stonewalling will be impressive.
