Iran blames Israel for killing Hamas leader Haniyeh with ‘short-range projectile’, promises revenge

Ismail Haniyeh, a” short-range bullet,” was allegedly shot by Israel’s Revolutionary Guards from outside his Tehran-area home, claiming Israel was to blame for his death.
A bullet with a weapon of about 7 kilograms, which produced a considerable explosion, was used as part of Iran’s “terrorist operation.” Additionally, they asserted that the assault was supported by the United States.
” This criminal operation was carried out by firing a short-range bullet with a weapon of about 7 pounds, causing a strong blast, from outside the hotel area”, the Guards said in a speech.
The assault occurred earlier Wednesday while Haniyeh was in the Egyptian funds to enter the swearing-in of the new leader, Masoud Pezeshkian.
The Guards reaffirmed their desire to resurrect Haniyeh’s death, warning that Israel may experience harsh punishment when and where necessary.
In the wake of the continuous Gaza war, Haniyeh’s death has raised local tensions. The Israeli government has never claimed responsibility for the attack, and it has declined to comment on it. Despite what widely believed to be the case is.
A top Palestinian militant group commander was killed before when Israel attacked a Hezbollah stronghold in southern Beirut. Over the weekend, Israel attributed Hezbollah’s dangerous rocket attack to the occupied Golan Heights. These deaths are the latest in a series of key occurrences that have drawn Iran-backed radical parties in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen into the Gaza issue.
In Iran, calls for retaliation against Israel have grown louder since Haniyeh’s execution. Punitive procedures would be “more different, more dispersed, and difficult to intercept,” according to the ultra-conservative Kayhan daily, with targets including “areas like Tel Aviv and Haifa as well as the proper centers and, especially, residences of some officials involved in the new crimes.”
During the continuous conflict, which started with a Hamas-led assault on Israel on October 7, Haniyeh has spearheaded Hamas ‘ international politics. He had been engaging in direct negotiations aimed at a stalemate in the Israeli region, which were being facilitated by international organizations.
His murder took place less than 24 days after Israel claimed to have killed a Hezbollah chief in Beirut in reprisal for the Israeli-led rocket attack on the Golan Heights.
