Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-Pa. ) is going to be chosen as Kamala Harris’s running mate.  ,
If this is accurate, Shapiro’s choice should result in Pennsylvania being again in play for the Democratic ticket, if not totally out of play for Donald Trump. But, Shapiro’s Israeli identity and pro-Israel jobs are likely to cause a real concern with the far left. Shapiro is one of the single individuals that is openly auditioning to be Kamala’s running mate, and unfortunately, he’s currently trying to memory-hole his aid of Israel.

First, he distancing himself from his previous claim that a two-state option was unlikely to bring about peace in the Middle East.
In the mind content, titled” Peace not possible”, Shapiro, then a 20-year-old student at the University of Rochester, argued that a negotiated alignment between Israeli and Palestinian leaders did not stop issue in the region, writing:” Using story as precedent, peace between Arabs and Israelis is virtually impossible and will never travel”.
He claimed that Yasser Arafat, the then-Palestinian head, was at risk of being killed” by his fellow belligerent Arabs,” and that the Arab world was contentious.
” Palestinians does not survive peacefully”, Shapiro wrote. They lack the resources to create their own country and succeed even with the support of Israel and the United States. They ca n’t create a peaceful homeland of their own because they are too focused on fighting.
Shapiro then insists he supports a two-state answer.
” I was 20″, he said. I’ve been saying for years, centuries before October 7, that I’m in favor of having Israelis and Palestinians live happily side by side, with the option of choosing both sides for their futures and destiny.

For sure, views can develop, but Shapiro is also now sadly downplaying something he should n’t. He identified himself as a former volunteer for the Israel Defense Forces ( IDF) in the same op-ed as aforementioned.
Now, however, his plan is downplaying that.
