Seymour Walker, 45, was detained by the Houston Police Department as they prepared to travel from Houston to Dallas on Thursday night, but a Frontier Airlines home flight was canceled due to his arrest.
According to CBS News, the captain was wanted in connection with a domestic violence permit and was taken off of Flight 3195, which was scheduled to take off from Houston to Dallas.
At around 4 p.m., local law enforcement made a wait until the airplane reached a designated gate before proceeding. When all people had disembarked, soldiers entered the plane and took the captain into” prison without incident”, according to police information.
” The activity started shortly before Flight 3195’s scheduled departure from IAH to Dallas Forth Worth ( DFW) began to board.” The journey was canceled because a successor member of the crew was unavailable right away. In a speech to CBS News, Frontier Airlines stated.
According to reports, people were offered a full refund, payment, or a place on the next available Frontier trip.
The Federal Aviation Administration commented on the situation, saying,” Airlines report situations such as this to the FAA company that oversees them, and we check all pilot-related issues”. The important officials are still looking into the event.
