Robert F Kennedy Jr, the independent presidential candidate, made a startling confession on Sunday, revealing that he was responsible for leaving a dead bear cub in Central Park, New York City, nearly a decade ago because he thought it would be “amusing.” Kennedy admitted to the strange act in a video posted on social media, where he recounted the incident to actress Roseanne Barr.
Kennedy expressed concern about the potential consequences of the story in his conversation with Barr, who was anticipating a New Yorker content about the incident. ” Looking forward to seeing how you flip this one”, he posted, tagging the newspaper in his blog.
In the movie, Kennedy, seated lightly in a restaurant, describes the events leading up to the ridiculous action. He claimed that while driving through the Hudson Valley in 2014, he witnessed a bus carrying a young bear cub hit and killed by accident. According to Kennedy,” I pulled through, I picked up the bear, and I put him in the back of my de because I was going to skin the carry,” adding that he intended to use the foods because the keep was in good condition.
But, Kennedy’s programs changed once he realized he needed to make a reservation for dinner at the renowned Peter Luger Steak House before taking a flight. In Central Park, he made up a picture that made it appear as though the bear had been struck by a vehicle and had decided to leave the keep.
Kennedy’s registration has raised brow, not only for the unexpected nature of the story but also for his everyday voice in recounting the event. He joked about the situation, saying,” This was a little bit of the hillbilly in me”, while acknowledging that the account might not be well-received by the government or the media.
A dreadful finding in Central Park
The bear bear’s finding in 2014 caused an outcry, with the New York Times reporting on the strange get. The woman’s dog, which was partially hidden among some bushes close to an abandoned vehicle, came upon the baby in Central Park. The 6-month-old baby, weighing 44 weight, appeared to have died from “blunt power injuries consistent with a motor vehicle collision”, according to a postmortem conducted by the country’s Department of Environmental Conservation.
Unfortunately, the New York Times article covering the event was written by Tatiana Schlossberg, Kennedy’s first sister’s child, who was conscious of Kennedy’s presence at the time. Schlossberg commented on the discovery, saying,” Like law enforcement, I had no idea who was concerned for this when I wrote the story”.
