Israel has resumed its strategy of targeted assassinations to eliminate terrorists from the battlefield as it approaches its ten-month survival war. These executions demonstrate Israel’s “long-arm” capabilities to hit its opponents in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and perhaps Iran. Since October 7, Israel has neutralized numerous Hamas, Hezbollah and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps ( IRGC ) high profile, arch-terrorists, including the following:

Ismail Haniyeh, president of Hamas, was reportedly killed by Israel in Tehran, Iran on July 31. The IRGC claimed that he was assassinated using a” short-range projectile,” while Hamas claimed the death was caused by a” treacherous Israeli raid on his home,” while the New York Times claimed the attack method was a weapon that had been smuggled into his guesthouse months earlier. After learning about the October 7 attack, Haniyeh famously prostrated himself and called for Palestinians from the Muslim world to carry out jihad against Israel. In particular, he called for Palestinians ‘ “blood of the women, children, and old” to be sacrificed for Israel. Haniyeh’s fate was praised by democratic reporters and commentators in the Egyptian world.

Fuad Shukr, rumored to become Hezbollah’s second-highest performance head, was killed by Israel in Beirut, Lebanon on July 30. He was instrumental in bringing Iranian missile assistance technology into Hezbollah’s weapons stockpiles, according to Israeli intelligence, and was responsible for the Majdal Shams attack, which resulted in the death of 12 Jewish Druze children on a football field. He also participated in the US and European security causes ‘ bombings of Beirut in 1983.

On July 13, the Israeli Air Force ( IAF ) assassinated both Mohammad Deif and Rafa’a Salameh on an attack on Salameh’s property in Khan Yunis, Gaza. The IDF confirmed Deif’s death on August 1. Deif was the head of Hamas ‘ military aircraft, the Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, and the second in command of Hamas in Gaza after Yahya Sinwar. Deif was in charge of teaching Hamas fighters how to attack Israel. Since 2001, he had evaded at least seven Jewish assassinations. Salameh was the captain of Hamas’s Khan Younis Brigade. The IDF killed the second Hamas brigade commander with Salameh still intact, making it the third of the three others. Salaameh was close to both Deif and Yahya Sinwar in an effort to resurrect the Khan Younis Brigade’s weapon features. He also played significant roles in the IDF soldier Gilad Shalit’s theft and the slaughter on October 7.

On July 3, the IAF killed Mohammed Nehme Nasser near Tyre, Lebanon. Nasser was the head of Hezbollah’s Aziz System, which is one of three of Hezbollah’s southern Lebanon local groups.

On June 17, the IAF assassinated Muhammad Mustafa Ayoub near Selaa, Lebanon. Ayoud was the chief of Hezbollah’s Nasr unit’s jet and missile section.

On June 11, the IAF assassinated Taleb Abdullah, the captain of Hezbollah’s Nasr system in Jwaya, Lebanon.

On June 3, the IAF assassinated Saeed Abiyar near Aleppo, Syria. Abiyar served as the IRGC’s advisor.

Mohammad Srour reportedly died at his Lebanonese residence on April 9th after being reportedly murdered by the Mossad. He reportedly had connections to Hezbollah, and he reportedly had relations to Iran’s IRGC, which transfers tens of millions of dollars annually.

On April 1, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi was killed by the IAF in Damascus, Syria, in a building next to the Egyptian ambassador. Zahedi good coordinated the relation between Iran, Syria, and Hezbollah because he was a senior captain of the IRGC’s Quds Force in Lebanon and Syria. Brig. Gen. Mohammad Hadi Haji-Rahimi was also reportedly killed in the same harm by the IAF. The IRGC described both as” top military officials”.

In northern Gaza on March 10, the IAF killed Marwan Issa. In Gaza, after Mohammad Deif and Yahya Sinwar, ISSa was the military wing’s assistant captain. That IAF hit even killed Ghazi Abu Tama’a, another senior Hamas chief, who managed Hamas ‘ arms in Gaza.

On January 20, the IAF assassinated Sadegh Omidzadeh in Damascus, Syria. Omidzadeh was the mind of the IRGC’s Quds Force’s intelligence system in Syria, in addition to four different IGRC soldiers.

On January 8-9, the IAF assassinated Wissam al-Tawil ( senior commander of Hezbollah’s elite Redwan Force ) and Ali Hussein Barji ( commander of Hezbollah’s aerial forces in southern Lebanon ), in two separate hits in Lebanon.

On December 25, the IAF assassinated Razi Mousavi, a chief of the IRGC’s Quds Force, near Damascus, Syria.

Moreover, in October 2023, during Operation Weapons of Iron, the IDF killed Ibrahim Biari, Billal Al Kedra, Murad Abu Murad and Ali Qadhi in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli murder of October 7 was sometimes planned or carried out by Hamas leaders.
