Regime-Approved ‘Fact-Checkers’ Rush To Downplay Tim Walz’s Stolen Valor Controversy

Legacy advertising hucksters are running unscrupulous intervention for the Democrat Party because another day ends with “-y.”

The latest case comes in the form of a Friday “fact-check” by The Washington Post’s Glenn Kessler. Known for his commitment to stay on behalf of Liberals, the Post’s “democracy dies in darkness” master decided to offer his “assessment” of the discussion engulfing Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

Walz’s deployment as Kamala Harris ‘ 2024 running mate has been undermined by information and resurfaced recordings that show he” stolen valor,” despite receiving praise from regime-approved media for his National Guard services. Walz abandoned his system before going to Iraq to run for Congress, as Matt Beebe has well-detailed in these chapters. He has since inflated his defense level throughout his political career.

Kessler begins his “fact-check” by citing a offer from Harris announcing Walz as her vice-presidential get and the subsequent sentence:

Since] Harris ‘ announcement], Walz ‘s&nbsp, record has been under attack by Republicans, &nbsp, with claims that he abandoned his troops on the eve of a deployment to Iraq and that, in an instance of” stolen valor”, inflated his credentials and wartime experience.

The suggestion, of training, is that any and all investigation of Walz’s history and previous claims about his military service are only the product of GOP partisanship — not the real facts documenting Walz’s dishonesty. Kessler uses this false tactic to persuade readers that his subsequent “fact-checks” are accurate despite their portrayals as obvious attempts to run interference for Walz by using this false tactic.

Walz’s decision to leave his product due to its implementation is analyzed by Kessler, who charts the president’s military career from the period he enlisted in the Guard in 1981 until his unit’s return from Iraq in 2007. The Post’s chief “fact-checker” acknowledged Walz knew his regiment could be deployed to the area immediately before moving to retire from service, and he presumably justified the selection by noting that the government had” served nearly a quarter-century in the watch and had already announced he was considering a parliamentary culture” prior to being informed his unit may be deployed.

I suppose Walz’s former coworker and replacement’s public outburst for abandoning his colleague support members when they most needed him is insufficient.

The Star Tribune’s “fact-check” of Walz’s departure was even worse. Walz’s bailing on his coworkers was deemed “false” by the Minnesota-based publication by presenting the false allegation that he had no idea that his pension papers may lead to Iraq. But that insinuation is n’t true, as a press release issued by Walz’s inaugural 2005 campaign and cited by Kessler shows.

But let us not overlook the Post’s home guardian of” truth”. He also assessed Walz’s says that he” stolen courage” by increasing his political standing throughout his career.

Despite frequently claiming the level of control sergeant major, Walz is actually a lesser-ranked master commander. In his final years of service, he was promoted to control sergeant major, but he did not finish the maximum number of years needed to keep the level when he left to run for Congress.

The Harris-Walz plan indirectly admitted the president’s untruthfulness when it slowly altered his history on the campaign’s site to claim he,” served as a command sergeant major”, rather than saying he’s a “retired command sergeant major”.

According to Kessler, these facts were n’t strong enough to support claims that Walz committed stolen valor. Instead, the Post “fact-checker” wrote:” This is on the line. He did, for a total of seven months, obtain the title he had claimed, but it would be more accurate to say that he” served as command sergeant major” rather than simply assert his claim.

Kessler’s antics did n’t stop there. Walz’s dishonest attempts to present himself as a combat veteran engaged in on-the-ground operations in Afghanistan were also whitewashed by him. While Walz’s unit was deployed overseas, it was sent to Italy— not the Middle East.

” This is also on the line. We can find no evidence Walz ever claimed he served in Afghanistan”, Kessler wrote, seemingly ignoring Walz’s endorsement of a book falsely claiming he served in Afghanistan.

Tim Walz thanked Nancy Pelosi for acknowledging his contribution to” On the Battlefield.”

Even C-SPAN was confused, referring to Walz as an” Afghanistan War Veteran”. https ://t.co/tiw9jBJsZM

While Kessler did rate Walz’s claim he carried “weapons of war … in war” as untrue, he sugarcoated the lie by asserting the Minnesota governor’s language was” sloppy” — a term he’s previously used to sanitize Democrats ‘ radicalism and lies.
