Nothing irritates me more about politics than the manufactured, ill vibe that permeates activities on both edges.
Politics has never been a barrel of laughs  , At its best, some politicians are able to elevate the soul, present a compelling vision, or have followers nodding their heads in agreement.  ,

I do n’t have to stick my finger down my throat to get the desired response when liberal media outlets try to woo Democratic voters by claiming Harris and Walz have “brought joy back” to politics. The liver rises quickly and effortlessly.
” Harris Used to Worry About Laughing. Then Joy Is Fueling Her Campaign”, gushes the New York Times.  ,
The Washington Post applauds” Harris and Walz seize on pleasant text in contrast to lighter Trump topics.”
” ‘ Getting back the joy ‘: Kamala Harris ‘ protest blows away JD Vance’s strange look across town”, grossly exaggerates Salon.
Trump’s themes are “dark” because anyone with half a brain looks at the country and does n’t see anything to be” joyful” about.  ,
However, Hamala Harris or Tim Walz have n’t changed the country’s suffering into something, which is the source of this manufactured sentiment. The Democrats are” joyful” because they now have a legitimate chance to win, not because Harris or Walz actually make them feel happy. If their elections go north, let’s examine this” joyful” item and see if it still applies.
The Democrat’s” delight” is more like the “irrational exuberance” made popular by former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan in 1996 when commenting on the perilous dot com bubble that immediately collapsed.  ,
Like the dot com balloon, the Harris campaign’s” delight” is a solution of wishful thinking and advertising despair. There’s a frantic, wide-eyed, near-hysteria that’s driving press coverage and it’s covering Harris-Walz in a frail special sheen of artificial sweeteners.  ,

Joy is fueling her plan? Yes, it is, and Walz himself once said that Harris “emanates the joy.” Harris and Walz” battle with joy,” according to MSNBC. According to the Washington Post, the two Democrats” captured on a pleasant information.” The New York Times, once, announced that Harris and Walz are running a” cheerful plan”.
In Harrisworld these days, happiness is outside — in food, in attire, in canvassing, in everything. NPR loved Walz’s “folksy style feeling — Carhartts and camo”. And everyone, really anyone, loves Walz’s apparently hungry, just-folks appetite. ” Tim Walz loves foodstuff”, declared the Atlantic. Corn puppies, cinnamon rolls, his pretty own” Turkey Trot Tater-Tot Hotdish” meal, and more, all washed down with prodigious quantities of milk. The Atlantic remarked,” Cold butter on a hot day, a completely cracked egg, a boiling dish plate full of God knows what,” adding that it all brings pleasure. The release came to the conclusion that Harris and Walz are attempting to win over people’s foods by being so passionate about it.
This” joy” image has been sparked by Walz and Harris, and they are putting pressure on them.
At a Wednesday rally in Detroit, Walz, 60, said,” They tried to steal the joy from this country, and all the things they do wrong, that makes me mad about those other guys and all the things they do wrong. The one thing I wo n’t forgive them for is that.” ” But you know what?… The joy is brought on by our second president! She emanates the joy”!

When did a politician of any party last use the word” joy” three times in a single paragraph? Sheesh.
That’s what I mean by “manufactured”. The Cackler boasts about reinvigorating the battle and flaunts a smile on her face. She reminds me of The Joker. Certainly the beautiful, whacky take on the figure by Joaquin Phoenix. Instead, the far more desperate and ominous Joker played by Heath Ledger in the 2008 picture” The Black Knight.”
David Axelrod, a previous Obama campaign manager, also warns of “irrational joy over Harris.”
According to Axelrod,” There is a lot of foolish excitement on the Democrat side of the aisle right now because there was a period of desperation about what November would seem like.” What Axelrod warned against is presently happening daily, not just among Democrats but also among their advertising friends. No single wants to do anything that may ruin the happiness, at least for the moment.
We’ll see how long the” joy” lasts. Citizens, like children, can only sing “pretend” for so much before realizing it’s simply a game and giving it up.
