A 90-year-old Air Force veteran was attempting to sell his Jewels to pay back his late rent and avoid evacuation for himself and his wife, who suffers memory, when a TikToker raised more than$ 320,000.
The former, who was identified as Donald at US Gold and Pawn in Manchester, was approached by TikToker named Jenelle Marie and told her about his incident, according to the New York Post.
Donald explained to Marie how his compassion for his ailing woman caused him to become ineligible for rent after his tenant increased the amount. He is “deadly scared” that his wife will be forced to move and that he will be displaced, Marie said.

She later uploaded a video to the event’s launch that showed her handing Donald an envelope with the$ 1,200 raised.
Overwhelmed with feeling, Donald expressed his gratitude, saying,” I could love you. Oh my compassion”. Marie insisted despite his original resistance to the grant, acknowledging his difficulties and appreciating his military services.
Thanks to the$ 1, 200, Donald was able to keep his jewelry and settle his debt with his landlord, even having$ 80 left over.
” You’re an angel in disguise, you truly are”, he told Marie.
” I do n’t know what to say, I really do n’t know what to say”. Donald, who turns 91 on August 25, added,” This is the best birthday present anyone has every had”.
According to the New York Post, Marie is also helping the few find more secure housing in addition to the financial assistance.
