In a wonderful turn, two of the 62 passengers on board the tragic aircraft that crashed in Brazil on Friday just avoided death thanks to a number of advantageous travel arrangements. According to Portuguese store GloboNews, Adriano Assis and Jose Felipe, who were both booked on the destined VoePass Journey 2283, revealed that pure luck had a major impact on saving their lives.
Adriano Assis, who had just finished a late change at the doctor, arrived at the airports around 9: 40 am for his 11: 56 am journey from Cascavel to Guarulhos. He figured he would pass the time with a cup of coffee after discovering that he was flying with LATAM Airlines and found no officials there. He realized he was booked with VoePass before discovering that there was no sign of Flight 2238 on the exit board. He was informed that it was too soon to table the VoePass gate before he rushed to it. ” I argued with him and things, and that was it, and he saved my life, man”, Assis said, clearly personal, as reported by Portuguese shop GloboNews.
A second customer, Jose Felipe, was portion of a group of ten who likewise mistakenly thought they were flying with LATAM. They were denied entry despite trying to convince an adviser to let them panel, which ultimately saved their lives. ” Thank God, we did n’t get on that plane”, Felipe said.
The ill-fated VoePass Trip 2283, an ATR 72 twin-engine turbine, crashed in Vinhedo on Friday, killing all 57 people and four team members. Surprising footage shows the aircraft being engulfed in flames and smoking as the plane plunged to the floor in a stunning descent.
The journey had left Cascavel at 11:56 am local time and was in the atmosphere for about an hour and a half without reporting any problems. Authorities confirmed that the crew attempted to contact local airports for assistance but neither did they request or report bad climate.
” The whole crew was competent”, VoePass CEO Eduardo Busch assured at a press conference, adding that an investigation is underway. The aircraft’s black package, which contains important voice recordings and flight info, was recovered from the aircraft. The helicopter sank from 13, 000 feet in a minute, according to Public Security Secretary of So Paulo Guilherme Derrite, who announced that the data would be analyzed.
Among the subjects were Captain Danilo Santos Romano, 35, an expert pilot of ten years, an old pair, and Rafael Fernando dos Santos, 41, who was traveling with his three-year-old girl, Liz Ibba dos Santos.
The stories of these brave tourists serve as a stark reminder of how a minor mistake is occasionally mean the difference between life and suicide as the research progresses.
