The prosecutor in Alec Baldwin’s spontaneous murder trial has blasted prosecutors ‘ “egregious” wrongdoing, which last month led to the situation being dismissed — and the judge saying it cannot be filed afterwards.

According to new records obtained by TMZ, District Court Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer criticized the trial for “intentionally and consciously” withholding information from Baldwin’s legal team in a 21-page decision this year.

It was that “willful and intentional misconduct”, Sommer wrote in the decision, that finally left her with no choice but to dismiss the case on July 12, only three days&nbsp, after test began.

Any additional opportunity “would&nbsp, not treat the underlying unfairness&nbsp, that the State’s wrongdoing, and its ripples in trial, had infused into the proceeding”, she said.

The orders reportedly given to Marissa Poppell reportedly included “egregious finding violations constituting wrongdoing and misleading testimony elicited during test.” The&nbsp, crime scene technician&nbsp, testified she’d been told to file ammunition from the” Rust” investigation under another case number so that Baldwin’s team would n’t see it.

Baldwin, who starred in and produced the picture, was charged with involuntary manslaughter after his prop firearm discharged a live round, &nbsp, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins&nbsp, and wounding director Joel Souza, on the New Mexico set of” Rust” in October 2021.

” Rust” armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, who was also charged with involuntary manslaughter, &nbsp, was found guilty&nbsp, in March and received the&nbsp, maximum 18-month prison sentence.

Given the departure of Baldwin’s test, attorneys for Gutierrez-Reed have &nbsp, requested her judgment be overturned, claiming she was content to the same kind of prosecutorial misconduct.

Less than a week after the termination of his situation, Baldwin’s authorized staff signaled their&nbsp, plans to sue Santa Fe attorney Kari Morrisey and Sheriff Adan Mendoza&nbsp, for withholding information.
