Moscow and Kiev exchanged responsible for a fire at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which was under Russian power, on Sunday.
No rise in radiation levels, according to Ukraine, Russia, or the International Atomic Energy Agency ( IAEA ), has been found.
A Moscow-installed standard, Vladimir Rogov, said the incident at a chilling tower has been” fully destroyed” in a Telegram article Monday.
He and Yevgeny Balitsky, the Moscow-installed government of Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia area, blamed “Ukrainian military forces” for the event.
Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, claimed in a social media post that” Soviet colonists have started a fireplace” at the factory and that they were trying to “blackmail” Kyiv.
” Now, energy levels are within the norm”, he added. Balitsky and the agency’s media company even reported the “radiation history” around the service was typical.
” No effect has been reported for radioactive safety”, the IAEA, which has experts stationed at the flower, said.
In a post on the social media platform X, the UN agency reported that” after several explosions heard in the evening, IAEA specialists witnessed strong black smoke coming from ZNPP’s north place.”
According to the report, the herb received information about an “alleged drone attack on one of the cooling towers now.”
    IAEA calls entry
The IAEA stated in a later declaration that it had requested “immediate exposure to the cooling tower to assess the damage.”
Russia is accused of deliberately starting the fire by Kyiv.
For this, Russia may become held responsible. Only the control of Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant you guarantee perfect safety and a return to normalcy, Zelensky said.
Ukraine’s interior secretary said Kyiv was “intensively monitoring” energy levels from outside weather stations.
All six of its units are now in cold closure, the plant’s push service said after the event.
” There is no danger of a gas explosion or any other outcomes”, Balitsky said.
Red flames licked around the base of one of the network’s cooling towers in a film that Zelensky released.
Russia seized power of the flower shortly after its extensive military offensive in February 2022.
The location is located on the eastern banks of the Dnipro river, which is essentially the main route through southeastern Ukraine.
Russia has consistently accused its troops of purposefully shelling the nuclear power station, claims that Ukraine, which it controls, denies.
Kyiv, in turn, has accused Moscow of militarising the center, including by placing large arms that at the start of the issue.
The IAEA has repeatedly urged caution, citing concerns that a careless military operation could result in a serious nuclear accident at the flower.
