Former US President Donald Trump powerfully recounted his assassination attempt in a recent rally at Pennsylvania’s Bethel Park, describing it as” not nice” during a discussion with tech giant and country’s richest man, Elon Musk.
The meeting, titled” no limits”, marked Trump’s high-profile returning to the social media platform X, previously known as Twitter. A DDoS assault, which started more than 30 minutes late, briefly delayed the program.
” I knew instantly it was a gun, I knew it was near my ear”, Trump told X CEO Elon Musk, who has endorsed his election. ” I heard folks shouting,’ Bullets, shots.'”
He more described the situation, saying,” we had bullets flying straight over my head after I went down. So I’m happy I went along. The bigger miracle was that I was following [ Crooks ] exactly.
Trump also spoke about Corey Comperatore, the man who lost his career in the assault, calling him a “great Trumper” and a great guy. He added that followers had raised considerable resources for Comperatore’s home.
The secret service was applauded by the former US President for their swift steps and ability to maintain sanity among the crowd.
” You did n’t have anybody flee, you did n’t have anyone stampede”, Trump remarked, noting his immediate concern about the lack of security on the rooftop.
” That would have been the spot]for a gunman ]”, he added.
Musk, when a writer of Trump, praised the Democratic presidential nominee’s tenacity pointing to his reaction to last season’s shooting as essential for national security.
” There are some real hard characters out it”, X CEO said. They will do whatever they want if they do n’t think the American president is tough, too.
Some new information about Trump’s possible bid for a second word were revealed during the dialogue between Trump and Musk, which lasted for more than two hours and was generally welcoming.
The former leader generally discussed his new assassination attempt, illegal immigration, and his motives to reduce state laws.
