Iran Stokes the Fires of Division Between U.S. and Israel While Urging Hamas Not to Negotiate

According to three senior Iranian representatives, Jerusalem’s signing of a cease-fire agreement with Hamas was the only way to stop Iran from attacking Israel in retaliation for the attack on Hamas head Ismail Haniyeh, according to a source close to Iran.

Hamas has also raised its expectations and reneged on participating in the Thursday negotiations. Israel and the United States are attempting to scuffle, according to Iran. However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s coalition government is fraying around the sides. After Gallant’s remarks to lawmakers were leaked to Israeli media, Netanyahu criticized Yoav Gallant, his defence minister.

Gallant dismissed Netanyahu’s war aims of” total victory” over Hamas as “gibberish”, branding those who say that this is achievable as “heroes with war drums” .&nbsp,

” When Gallant adopts the anti-Israel tale, he harms the chances of reaching a captive deal”, the prime minister’s office said in a statement.

In fact, Gallant and Netanyahu often see eye-to-eye, but this latest dustup is everything new. However, Hamas may use this government department to make even more absurd demands. &nbsp,

The strain on Netanyahu is growing both domestically and internationally. Yet Netanyahu’s most fervent allies are aware that this is not the time to sow divisions because Iran is likely to launch an attack on Israel in a matter of days.

The European Union does n’t in any way improve things. Josep Borrell, the EU’s best diplomat, is preparing to put forth a plan to censure the “far correct” people of Netanyahu’s state, especially, Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Gvir. Ben Givr is a member of the Otzma Yehudit Party, while Motzrich is a chief of the Religious Zionist Party. Both people are dissenters who have made Netanyahu’s life miserable.

When Ben Givr led a meditation contact at the Al Aqsa Mosque, the most holy site in Islam, he simply threw oil on the fire. Smotrich is a weapon pitcher. However, Borrell needs to be considerate of his own business and stop muddled in Israel’s ongoing struggle for survival.

Is Iran willing to give up “revenge” against Israel in order for Hamas to reach a bargain with Israel? Whether it’s critical or not is illusory. When the jihadists are well and truly defeated, never before, Israel may reach a deal with Hamas.

    Institute for Study of War:

Iran probably calculates that Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu must choose between two poor choices based on whether Israel and Hamas reach a ceasefire-hostage package. If Netanyahu accepts the peace plan, Iran may speculate that he might lose the support of his political alliance. Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Ben Gvir have recently threatened to leave Netanyahu’s partnership if a peace is reached before Hamas is destroyed. Iran may even speculate that if Netanyahu were to accept Hamas ‘ plan, Netanyahu may be held accountable by Israeli community and supporters for the subsequent Iranian-led attack on Israel. Which course of action would benefit Iran’s goals of causing more groups within Israel and isolating Israel from its allies, especially the United States. Iran may make up its mind about what will happen if an Egyptian strike, which results in significant harm or death, is effective.

It does n’t matter if Hamas is getting pummeled. It has the means to bear the blows that Israel has suffered to throw it in an increasingly untenable position. Iran, on the other hand, has made its “peace request” and is now free to launch any appropriate strike against Israel.

Over the coming weeks, Jewish people will experience some sleepless nights.
