On Thursday, senior representatives from the US, Qatar, Egypt, and Israel will meet in Doha for important discussions aimed at bringing about the release and agreement of Gaza. Given current threats from Iran and Hezbollah following the killings of Hamas and Hezbollah frontrunners in Tehran and Beirut, this mountain is crucial in attempts to de-escalate Middle East tensions and prevent a possible regional issue.
President Biden sees the arrangement as essential in terms of reducing the risk of a wider geographical war, according to Axios. Along with Qatar’s Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Abdul Rahman al-Thani, Mossad Director David Barnea, and Egyptian knowledge main Abbas Kamel, CIA Director Bill Burns and President Biden’s top Middle Eastern director Brett McGurk will also attend the meeting.
On Wednesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had fruitful conversations with senior officials and leaders of Israel’s security and intelligence service. These conversations lasted for more than five days and focused on Doha deals techniques.
Two top Israeli authorities revealed that Netanyahu agreed to significantly expand the authority given to Israeli negotiators in order to promote more meaningful discussions. Although this novel freedom is intended to improve the chances of negotiations, it is still not certain if it will be sufficient to bring about a consensus.
Hamas leaders have stated they will not immediately participate in the debate despite Qatar’s claims to the White House and State Department that Hamas will be included in them. But, they are open to meeting with negotiators afterwards to examine Israel’s ideas.
A source close to the conversations mentioned that Hamas members in Doha did not enter the deals but are willing to review Israel’s ideas through intermediaries. The mediators may update Hamas representatives and determine whether Israel makes a sound and sensible proposal, the source said.
Israeli security and intelligence officials warned Netanyahu about the necessity of reaching an agreement during the Wednesday meeting by stressing the importance of reaching an agreement. Jewish intelligence has yet to confirm Hamas ‘ claim that one man prisoner had been killed and two adult victims had been thoroughly wounded.
A prisoner deal and a ceasefire in Gaza, as well as the threat of retaliation from Iran and Hezbollah, were two important discussions points. President Biden and Vice President Harris have been receiving updates on ongoing diplomatic work, and the White House has been constantly monitoring the situation.
The importance of local participation was made known to his Ancient and Qatari rivals by Secretary of State Antony Blinken. According to Blinken,” No gathering in the region really take actions that would undermine efforts to reach a deal.”
