The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal has identified the buyer and the Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. company who were killed in the bel Air home explosion&nbsp on Sunday night, according to a Monday media release.

One of the two BGE contracted power staff was found dead while one of the home’s electrical staff was addressing a problem before the blast. Authorities said the sufferer was 35-year-old Jose Rodriguez-Alvarado.

Rodriguez-Alvarado’s body was recovered quickly after the fire, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Search-and-rescue crew worked throughout the day Sunday, clearing wreckage and looking for more patients. Days after the fire, personnel recovered the body of the buyer, 73-year-old Ray Corkran Jr.

Corkran’s family, Phyllis Corkran, who, according to the Office of Register of Wills, passed away in September 2018, was the only person who lived in the house he previously owned.

A next-door cousin was likewise treated at the scene for small injuries, according to disaster leaders.

The fire captain and the Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms Task Force have concluded their on-scene investigation, according to the transfer, and the image has been turned over to plan members.

According to the fire sheriff’s office, crews have begun removing dirt and starting restoration efforts have been underway on the nearby homes that were damaged in the explosion.

Authorities are moving to examine data and information collected from their on-scene investigation, according to the launch. According to the launch, investigators will examine things like the home’s gas and electric piping, surveillance videos, and BGE data.

No criminal activity is being investigated, according to the fire sheriff’s office, and prosecutors will continue to concentrate on unintended causes.
