Somewhat excluded from the party’s rollout is a cost label for the complete set of proposals. However, the activities are aimed at tackling the financial pressures now facing middle-class Americans, particularly in areas where costs have skyrocketed.
A$ 6, 000 taxes credit for families with children is one of the key policies that Harris is pitching as one of its cornerstone guidelines. This plan is suggestive of a similar plan unveiled by Trump’s running partner, Senator J. D. Vance, only days before. Also, Harris is pledging to restore the expanded child tax credit of$ 3, 600, which was part of Biden’s pandemic stimulus package.
Another tax breaks that Harris has suggested include a more generous earned income tax credit for front-line employees and a duty reduction for those who purchase insurance through the Affordable Care Act market.
She has outlined plans to reduce regulations and offer tax incentives to encourage the building of starter homes in terms of casing affordability. Her aim is to handle the design of 3 million new cover products over the next four years, addressing the housing shortage that has caused house prices to record highs.
Also, Harris proposes offering$ 25, 000 in down payment assistance to first-time consumers and establishing a$ 40 billion fund to encourage modern housing development. Her housing plan also targets corporate practices, such as “price-fixing” by rental data firms and the acquisition of homes by large financial entities and wealthy investors.

Harris’s proposals have already drawn sharp criticism from Republicans. Senator J. D.
