    Secret Service to use bulletproof glass to protect Trump at outdoor rallies: Report

    According to a new report, the U.S. Secret Service approved a new security strategy for upcoming outside gatherings involving former president Donald Trump.

    Following the assassination attempt on Trump on July 13 at his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, a Secret Service established informed The Washington Post that bombproof glass shields may be installed on the level of upcoming outside rallies to defend the former president.

    After the assassination attempt against the original president last quarter, the Secret Service reportedly&nbsp, urged&nbsp, the Trump plan to keep future gatherings and events at indoor spaces. According to ABC News, Trump has held about 12 campaign events home since the death try.

    Bulletproof cup is usually reserved for presidents and vice presidents, according to an anonymous Key Service official. The official stated that” Former presidents and candidates do n’t typically receive DoD support or bulletproof glass.” Cars and trucks must transport this cup, according to the statement.

    The Secret Service has started storing the nuclear glass in various locations throughout the United States in order to make for upcoming rallies and events, according to The Washington Post. After Kimberly Cheatle’s departure, acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe resigned, according to The Outlet.

    The Secret Service’s usage of UpArmored crystal around former president Trump is another step in keeping the battle safe, according to Don Mihalek, a retired top Secret Service agent, in an interview with ABC News. ” This is n’t just a piece of glass but a large, bulky and heavy armored glass that will require extensive logistics capability, normally reserved for large-scale outdoor events”.

    A Secret Service official told NBC News that the organization may increase the number of employees and systems at Trump rallies outside to lessen potential risks. The standard said the agency may also increase risk evaluation and prevention for potential protective details, including counter-surveillance and counter-snipers.

    Additionally, a Secret Service official informed The Washington Post that more specialized security personnel, which are not normally assigned to presidential candidates, does been deployed to guard the former president.

    Trump’s supporters told The Washington Post that the previous leader wants to continue holding outside rallies, including one in Butler, Pennsylvania, but that Trump also wants to have safe glass surrounded the staged events.
