A home worried after not hearing from their parents for decades found him dead inside a fridge” strapped shut” in the door of a&nbsp, Texas &nbsp, house, authorities said.

The man’s home late contacted the&nbsp, Bexar County Sheriff’s Office&nbsp, to share their concerns, which eventually led to the terrible identification, Sheriff&nbsp, Javier Salazar&nbsp, said in an&nbsp, Aug. 9&nbsp, media briefing shared on Facebook.

The coroner’s office has not officially identified the man but said&nbsp, he was 76 years old, the San Antonio News-Express reported.

According to Salazar, a lieutenant visited the house on San Antonio’s far northern part to perform a happiness verify. When they arrived, a gentleman began speaking to them through a Ring doorbell cameras.

” Somebody answered as if it was ( the father ), but the deputy got the sense that it was not him”, Salazar said. Someone had allegedly pretended to be the parents, the officer’s conviction was correct.

At some point, the boy’s home arrived at the house and were able to get in, Salazar said, adding that a 48-year-old man instantly exited the target. It was the boy’s child, &nbsp, David Michael Gibson.

According to Salazar, the lieutenant and the family were conducting a” suspicious” kitchen search in the door while they were together.

He said that it appeared to have been strapped shut or chained shut using some straps. People remains were discovered inside the refrigerator after they opened it.

Gibson was arrested on a cost of tampering with a body, according to the coroner’s office. There could be more costs to occur, but for now, “it’s too early to tell if the sufferer was really murdered”, Salazar said. However, we have a system that has been neglected for some time.

According to authorities, Gibson lived there and had the remains at the residence.

Salazar said Gibson may have been&nbsp, cashing checks using his father’s name, KENS reported, adding that his bond has been set at$ 250, 000.

Salazar also said the gentleman ‘s&nbsp, Social Security&nbsp, and military pension investigations were being cashed but that a prescription he takes&nbsp, had not been filled lately, WOAI reported.
