
Taylor Swift , and , Travis Kelce , you breath a sigh of relief after European officials at an Eras Tour show detained a man suspected of stalking Swift and making threats against Kelce.
On Wednesday, the 34-year-old American man, whose name has n’t been shared publicly, had a ticket to the show at the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, but was quickly identified before entering the venue and taken into custody. He posed a danger, but the officers had n’t rule it out.
Authorities told the , Associated Press , that the person was detained “following ideas from promoters of the occasion”. A local prosecutor ordered he be held until Saturday, which is the ending of Swift’s trip in the area.
The man first caught people’s attention when he threatened Kelce on social media. However, the officers stress that Swift and the thousands of followers were never in immediate threat. The”Karma”  , singer continued with her performance with around 60, 000 people in attendance and had two more shows planned in the city.
This is just the most recent instance of Swift having stalkers experienced this time. In January,  , David Crowe , was held without parole after being arrested outside the band’s apartment in Manhattan on three separate occasions. And a court order did n’t stop him from returning. He was afterwards found , emotionally unfit to endure trial , and taken to a medical doctor.
Another person,  , Joshua Christian, was also arrested near Swift’s residence in 2022 for buzzing her phone and threatening her if she would n’t “be with” him. In 2019, a gentleman named  , Roger Alvarado , was arrested after apparently breaking into her house, taking a bath in her bath and sleeping in her sleep.
Swift told , CBS Mornings she keeps “wound treatments”  , with her because of ghouls” who think we’re in an absurd relationship”.
